Saorise laid against Silas's chest, eyes opened and listening to the sound of his heartbeat.
It didn't quite match hers but she realized how slow each beat was and how fast it could be when he would breath heavy.
It was quite early and she had woken up to the sounds of the light rain tapping against the window seal, the sky was a shade of dark blue and the wind blew by heavily making each branch hit against the windows.
She couldn't help but keep overthinking about what she had overheard from Silas's family.
Truth is, she felt as if she wasn't good enough for him, Everything about her emotions and thoughts were running her crazy, they were all over the place, leaving her no room to feel anytype of calmness.
She couldn't help but wish they were home, she'd rather be snuggled up with him in a place where she felt wanted and comfortable.
Now she felt anything but that.
Saorise watched Silas with her eyes as he slept and tapped her tiny fingers on his bare chest as if she was playing a panio.
The room was cold and very quiet so she was left with nothing to say or do, but just wait until he had woke up .
But with her little patience and her growing bored with just watching him sleep , she sat up in the bed criss cross and placed her stuffed animal in her lap.
" daddy?" She called out his name in a whisper while her finger poked at his rib cage, trying to wake him up from his deep sleep.
She didn't get much of a response, only just him remaining still with this eyes closed. It was like she barely touched him.
Seconds later she called out for her daddy once again , " daddyyyy." She dragged out his name , calling out once more. She was dying of boredom and craved a bit of attention, his attention to be exact.
Without much thought She then climbed her little body ontop of him, practically ontop of his waist and placed her hands on his face." daddy it's time to wake up." She said to him, admiring the beauty of his face.
Feeling her tiny body climb ontop of his got his attention almost immediately, he quickly pulled her body close to his and forcefully made her lay against his chest. " go back to sleep."
She frowned at his sudden response and movement before she tried to lift herself back up. " daddy!" She whined. " let me gooo." She huffed out loud and tried to slip from out of his hold, turns out he was more stronger than she thought.
He opened his eyes to look over at the clock, " baby it's only a little after five, you should still be asleep.." he said then sat up in the bed with her, "why aren't you sleeping?" He asked, giving her a look of disapproval.
