Adhavan was shocked to see Abhidnya sitting on a sports bike while clinging to the rider's back. Her hair flying high in the wind.
Her facial expressions were jovial, expressing her thrilled inner self.

Adhavan's mind paused for a moment. He couldn't think of anything rationally. He still trusts Abhidnya, but the closeness between them is making his skin itchy all over his body.

He didn't want to believe anything before confronting Abhidnya for once. There are chances that they can be good friends. But somewhere his procrastinating subconscious mind is irritating him.

AT ABHIDNYA'S PALACE

Abhidnya returned home late in the evening.
She went inside her room only to find Adhavan standing near the window with a coffee mug in his hands.

Hearing the clinking sound, Adhavan turned around. He looked at Abhidnya and smiled heartily. The handsome face with a charming smile was a sight worth watching, but alas! not for Abhidnya.

But soon his smile subsided when he saw her enraged expressions. He missed the shine that he expected to see in her eyes. He searched for happiness, he thought she would get upon seeing him after years. He couldn't find the excitement in her. He couldn't see 'his Abhidnya' in her anymore.

She said she won't wait for long. Is he late or is she upset with him over something? Several trivial thoughts entered Adhavan's mind, but he was determined to cajole her.

"Hello Abhi", Adhavan wished.

"What are you doing here in my room?", Abhidnya asked, maintaining a stoic face. She wasn't happy with his arrival and she didn't even try to fake it.

"I came here to meet you", Adhavan said as a matter of fact.

"Then you should have waited downstairs like a guest", Abhidnya spat rudely.

Adhavan was still calm, "But my sweetheart, I am no guest but your soon to be husband"

Hearing this Abhidnya scoffed, "husband? Are you still delusional?..........the family members were just casually discussing our marriage when we were small kiddos. There is nothing serious in it and no future as well"

"What's wrong with you, Abhi? Kyu naraz ho? Meine kuch Kiya hai kya? Agar mujhse koi galti hui hai then I am sorry and am ready to apologize in any way you want me to but Abhi, stop behaving like this with me. It.....it hurts, you know", Adhavan pleaded.

"It's Abhidnya for you. Better keep it in mind from next time onwards. Aur mein naraz nhi hun and nothing is wrong with me. If it hurts you, then isn't it your problem?I don't see how it concerns me"

Adhavan sighed and licked his lower lip, "Toh mujhse baat kyu nhi karti? Why have you blocked me? Almost do saal ho gaya mujhe tumhari awaaz sune huye"

"I don't want to talk to you, simple", Abhidnya shrugged casually.

"Is it because of that bastard?", Adhavan gritted his teeth

"Juban sambhal kar baat kariye. Hum pyar karte hain unse", Abhidnya declared matching Adhavan's eyes.

Adhavan was stunned at her confession, "Tum sunn bhi rahi ho kya keh Rahi ho? Ya sirf bole jaa rahi ho?........pyaar kese kar sakti ho tum usse?.......This ain't love but just a freaking infatuation".

Abhidnya snickered, "sahi kaha tha Vhavya ne that you are an over dominating conservative orthodox. These feelings are mine then how can you say whether it is love or infatuation, haan?"

"Cause I know what love is........pyaar woh hai jo mein tumse karta hun......itne dur rehkar bhi tum hamesha mere saath rahi mere khayalon mein rahi. I could feel you every time I missed you.Your memories became the reason for my survival. You became the reason for my longingness to return home. I love you, Abhidnya", Adhavan confessed while cupping her cheeks.
