IN THE RAGHUVANSHI HAVELI
AT THE GARDEN
Abhidnya was plucking hibiscus flowers with a subtle smile playing on her face.
"Abhidnya waise tumhe pata hain 'flowers are the most beautiful entity on earth', is a myth", Ruhan said flirtatiously
"Hein? Is that a myth? I thought it's true. By the way what is more beautiful than a flower?", Abhidnya asked with a scrunched nose
"Your smile is more beautiful than any flower", Ruhan complimented by putting up a dreamy expression on his face
Hearing this Abhidnya let out a hearty laugh.
"Aab hui na baat....mein tabse wahi soch raha tha ki how to change your smile to grin but I never knew you gonna laugh", Ruhan said proudly
"Myths and laughs is the topic I hear", Hearing a deep voice Ruhan's mind took a 360° turn. He gulped and cursed his luck for its worst timing.
Abhidnya stifled her laughter and continued plucking the flowers.
"Hehe hehe Bhai sa aap yahan?", Ruhan asked with an awkward smile
"Last time I checked, I am staying here since years", Adhavan replied with a snobbish attitude and sat on the neatly trimmed grassy ground.
He leaned back taking support of his palms. Adhavan raised his right brow and asked with a stoic face, "you know what else will make her laugh?"
Ruhan nodded his head negatively. He was crying internally witnessing a tint of burning jealousy in Adhavan's eyes.
Adhavan chuckled with a dark smirk when he saw a visibly palpitating Ruhan, "I will tell you. When Abhidnya will see you riding Spring"
There are four horses in the stable. Whenever Adhavan and his friends gather at his place, they would go horse riding, competing with each other.
Spring was the fastest among the four. But stubborn as well. Her behaviour depends upon her mood. And truth to be told she is as moody as Adhavan is and perhaps because of that both understand each other.
"Bhai sa....... Abhidnya meri maut pe khus kyu hogi? Aap ko bhi pata hai ki Spring only let you sit on her back, she will kick me to hell perhaps if i would even dare attempting to ride on her back", Ruhan said while folding his hands
"Sunday after golf, you gonna show your horse riding skills to Abhidnya that's it", Adhavan said with finality
"Abhidnya please help me", Ruhan nudged Abhidnya with squinted eyes
Abhidnya looked at Ruhan and then at Adhavan. His dark orbs were so sharp that even Abhidnya didn't dare to go against him while looking at those.
Abhidnya turned her back and plucked another flower and muttered, "just nod your head and leave we will find a way later, till then I will try to handle him"
Ruhan grinned thinking there is still a hope for his escape. He got so happy that in excitement he pulled Abhidnya's both the cheeks. Indeed his luck wasn't in his favour.
His hands froze when he remembered that Adhavan is looking at him. He rolled his eye balls sideways to have a look at Adhavan and he shut his eyes when he saw Adhavan's jaw clenched and his lips twitched in annoyance.
Ruhan took a deep breath and stood straight. Taking a deep breath he looked at Adhavan and said, "Bhai sa, mein lakdi arrange karne jaa raha hun apne funeral pyre ke liye"
And ran from there as if he is already on fire.
"Nautanki" Adhavan mumbled while Abhidnya giggled looking at Ruhan who got bumped into the house helpers while running for his life.
