Not every rose is red. Not every Sunday is a fun day. Not every damsel in distress has her prince charming. Not every bad guy changes to an adoring husband for his wife. Not every memory is worth remembering. Similarly, NOT EVERY LOVE STORY IS FILLE...
"I will miss them because they loved me", Abhidnya monotonously said making Adhavan stunned for a moment. His mind couldn't register Abhidnya's perspective, how can she be upset to get rid of abusive parents but again he thought isn't is usual to miss your parents since they are a part of your life.
Adhavan's thoughts got a sudden break when another set of words appalled him. "Aap jante hain who killed them.....", Abhidnya said and left ahead with the priest to perform the last rites while Adhavan was drowned thinking whether this is a question or a statement. Was she asking him or indicating that she is aware about the person who is behind her parents' death.
While doing the last rites of her parents she didn't even for once looked at Adhavan while for the entire time his orbs were focused on her moves, drowning in his own dilemma.
Abhidnya finally lit the funeral pyre and looked at Adhavan. When his eyes found her's through the light of the flames, he concluded that he don't regret his doings even for once. He murdered them not only for Abhidnya but for himself and especially for them.
The both stood at their place for hours looking at each other, waiting for the fire to cool down. Abhidnya was crying silently and Adhavan was trying to decode what these tears actually mean? Are these tears of pain for loosing her parents? Or are these tears of remembrance of those horrific moments she experienced?
Finally when the ashes cooled down, the priest sacredly filled the last remains of her parents in an earthen pot as per the ritual and they proceeded towards the river to immerse it in water.
After taking a holy bath Abhidnya went to the temple in the crematorium premises and offered her prayer for peace of her parents' soul.
Adhavan sat on the stairs, infront of the temple, looking at the river and the sun set. The orange hue was looking so enchanting but his current situation didn't give him the privilege to relax with the view.
His trance broke when he heard the sound of the anklets, he turned around to see a semi drenched Abhidnya was descending the stairs. She was taking quick short breaths which was a sign that she is feeling cold, after all she has taken several dips in the river as per the said customs.
Abhidnya stood beside Adhavan, "go and get changed before you catch a cold, Anya have arranged all the necessities for you already", Adhavan directed
Abhidnya looked at Anya who was standing at a distance waiting patiently for Abhidnya. She walked towards Anya and proceeded further to get into a new set of clothes.

She wrapped her white scarf around herself and walked towards the car with her head down. Adhavan was smoking his favourite cigar while leaning on the car. When he saw Abhidnya in his favourite colour, he stood straight and smashed the cigar under his left foot.
He opened the front passenger seat door for Abhidnya and handed her a hot chocolate coffee cup when she settled properly in her seat. He circled the car and took the charge of driving the vehicle.
