Adhavan silently looked at Abhidnya who was scared to her wits, with just the look of the villa. Abhidnya didn't want to visit the villa again since she has been trying hard to forget the terrifying memories of her parents' death. Once look at the villa and she went back to the day when she was sitting in between her parents' dead body.
Ironically the situation was not any better for Adhavan. He too was anxious to visit the Villa after several years. He was dreading to re-live the bitter-sour memories of a traumatic separation between him and Abhidnya that took place in this villa. He never in his life wanted to come here but he is now infront of this villa only for the sake of Abhidnya.
Adhavan again lit his cigar. And closed his eyes. He felt a shivering touch on his hand which was on the hand break. He slowly opened his eyes to see Abhidnya holding his hand and weeping silently. Her lips were quivering and her face radiating her inner turmoil.
"Hume andar nhi jana Abadhya please, hum nhi jayenge. Hume Ghar le chaliye" Abhidnya requested sincerely.
Adhavan removed his hand and opened his seat belt while saying, "hum apke ghar hi aye hain Abhidnya"
Adhavan opened the door and circled towards Abhidnya's side of the car. Her heart beat caught pace when she heard him saying that they will be entering inside not the other way around.
Adhavan opened the car's door for her. He patiently waited for Abhidnya to come out but she kept clutching her closed palms near her chest.
Sighing Adhavan leaned inside the car to open the seat belt of Abhidnya. Coming face to face he looked deep into her eyes.
"Mein sirf ek baat, ek hi baar puchunga" Adhavan whispered auhoratively
Abhidnya nodded her head obediently.
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes" Abhidnya replied instantly
Adhavan stood straight and forwarded his hand for Abhidnya.
This time mustering up some courage Abhidnya placed her palm on Adhavan's palm and came out of the car.
They both looked at the villa. At night with their own petrified memories the Villa looked not less than haunted to both of them. In addition it started drizzling.
Adhavan pulled Abhidnya to walked towards the villa while at the same time Abhidnya pulled Adhavan to get away from the villa. With every step they ascended Abhidnya's grip on Adhavan's palm increased.
She was bitting her inner lower lip hard due to her anxiety. When they both reached the threshold, Adhavan looked straight at the garden which encountered the beginning of their painful ending. He slowly raised his neck towards the left of the villa and looked at Abhidnya's room which marked the ending of their beautiful surreal beginning.
He removed Abhidnya's grip from his palm, only to hold her securely in his arms.
Abhidnya looked at the corner of the villa where her father's dead body was lying few days back. The white marbled floor looks spotless but to Abhidnya it was still stained with the red blood of her father.
Adhavan while side hugging her, pushed her forward encouraging her silently to pour out her emotions. Abhidnya slowly raised her pointed finger indicating the spot to Adhavan like a child.
"Paa...papa wahan....mein ayee, udhar woh wahan niche, blood...." Abhidnya could not form a sentence either. She clutched her mouth and sobbed hard.
Adhavan kept rubbing her arm in order to console her but Abhidnya sobbed like a small child who has lost her parents in a fair full of strangers with no hope to meet them again.
