"𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 we have to keep moving in a circle." Scarlett said as she and Robby were sparring
"You know, I did make it to the All Valley finals." Robby smirked.
Scarlett smirked and nodded in reply, then wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck. "True, but you also didn't have to get through me." she pecked his lips
"You know, I wanna thank you." Robby said, and Scarlett furrowed her brows, urging him to continue. "Last week, I had no hot water. This week, I have a jacuzzi in my backyard."
Scarlett smiled as she rested her forehead against his. "Don't get too excited, when we first moved in, we found a dead possum in it." she winced at the memory. "I seriously thought grandma Mills was going to have to be admitted to the cardiac unit of the hospital, her heart attack was that bad."
"Oh my god, is she all right?" Robby asked as he held her close
"How do I put this without it sounding rude, Grandma Mills has always been on the dramatic side." Scarlett said. "Trust me, she's fine."
Robby smiled as he kissed her lips then replied, "Seriously though, thank you. It's nice to have people look out for you, especially since things have been tough. That's how you know who your true friends are."
"Well that's what friends and girlfriends do." Scarlett smiled
"All right guys, enough chitchat." Let's see where you're at." Daniel said as he and Sam walked into the dojo, but their attention was brought to two boys who entered the dojo as well.
"Hey, uh, we're looking for Miyagi-do?" one of the boys said
"You're in the right place." Daniel said, and the boys walked closer.
"The commercial said lessons are free?" The other boy asked
"They sure are. You guys ready to get started?" Daniel asked
"Yeah." They said, nodding
"Great. Have a couple cans of paint out front. The fence out back here could use a fresh coat. Robby here will show ya." Daniel said, and the boys' expressions changed rather quickly
The boys gave Daniel a quizzical look. "Wait you want us to paint your fence?" they asked
"Keep an open mind guys." Scarlett said as Robby wrapped his arm around her. "It'll all make sense later, trust us."
"In order to fully learn Miyagi-Do Karate, you have to unlearn your misconceptions about what constitutes training." Daniel said, hoping to change their minds.
"I knew this was bullshit. This was all just some scam to get kids to do your yard work, huh?" they asked, making Daniel shake his head
