"𝐈 don't know if we'll ever use this in a fight but if we're ever forced into a dance battle, we're set." Robby laughed as he and Scarlett practiced the wheel technique on the balance board.
Scarlett laughed, causing her to lose balance but Robby caught her just in time. "Whoa, thanks." she smiled. Robby kissed her lips as he let go of her arm slowly, so she could regain her balance.
"Uh, hey, are we doing shirts versus skins?" Demetri asked, interrupting them. Robby and Scarlett turned to face him, as he continued. "Cause I prefer to be a shirt. Not saying that you have to be a skin." He told Scarlett, who gave him a look of confusion. "Unless you want to. I support your right to choose." Logan laughed as he opened his gatorade and took a sip, while Maudie was sparring with Sam on the side.
"Demetri. Over here." Daniel called out.
"Hey, Mr. L, before we begin...." Demetri said, handing Daniel a piece of paper.
"What's?" Daniel questioned, but Demetri cut him off
"It's a note from my mom excusing me from any extensive arm and leg movements." Demetri said. "So, uh, if there's an alternative lesson I could do... Maybe a workbook." he suggested
"Show me sand the floor." Daniel said
"You want me to sand it again? It's pretty smooth." Demetri said
"No, not actually... the movement." Daniel said. "Show me the movement. Remember?" Demetri got in position. "You ready?" Daniel asked and Demetri nodded.
Demetri forgot how to block, and Daniel kicked him "You kicked me!" Demetri said
"Why didn't you block Demetri? You know this. This the muscle memory." Daniel said
"In case you haven't noticed, I don't have muscles." Demetri said
Daniel sighed then asked, "Do you, want to be here Demetri?"
"Not really." Demetri answered honestly.
"Then why are you here?" Daniel asked
Demetri sighed then answered, "My whole life I've been, let's just say, less than popular. But at least I had a few friends. And then Cobra Kai comes to town, and the next thing I know, my friends are taking karate, and becoming alpha jerks. I'm literally being threatened by my best friend. I just wanted to show I could fight back."
"Look, I understand what you're going through. I do. But Miyagi-Do isn't about showing off. It's about..." Daniel said, but Demetri cut him off
"Self defense. I know. Problem is, my self is too weak." Demetri said with his head down.
"Hey, you guys wanna head to the mall?" Sam asked as she sipped her strawberry banana body armor. "Maudie, Logan, you guys and Demetri can ride with me while the two love birds drive together."
