"𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐘. Save some for Cobra Kai." Demetri said, as Scarlett repetitively hit the punching bag in front of her.
"Oh sure. If we're ever allowed to stand up to them." Scarlett said, then kicked the bag some more.
"Hey, what's gotten into you?" Sam asked, noticing her best friend's change in behavior.
"I'll tell you later." Scarlett said
"Hey, everyone, gather round. I have news." Daniel said, walking out of the dojo. "The All Valley Committee just announced big changes for the tournament."
"What kind of changes?" Sam asked
"Well, see for yourselves. It's a whole new ball game." Daniel grinned, as he passed the paper to the kids
"They're introducing skills competition." Demetri said
"And there's gonna be a separate girls' division. So that means..." Sam paused
"There'll be two All Valley champs." Daniel said
"Wait, what does that mean for the bet with Cobra Kai?" Chris asked

"All I know is the girls' division is mine, Scarlett, and Maudie's." Sam said, linking her arms with her best friends.

"Yeah, we're a bunch of Rudys. I mean sure we're good for the inspirational moment, but we're not exactly center mat material." Demetri said
"We were much better off with Miguel and Hawk." Chris said
"Or he who shall not be named. Rhymes with Dobby." Demetri said
"Look, I know you're missing some of your friends. And of course I wish Robby was here. But it's time to put the past behind us, all right? Don't worry. By the time the tournament comes around, you're gonna realize this was the best thing that could have happened." Daniel said

After putting the laundry away upstairs, Sharon walked down the stairs to grab herself a watermelon poppi from the fridge. As she poured her soda over ice, the door bell rang. "Hold on, I'm coming!" Sharon smiled as she set the can down and walked to the front door, only to open it to Tory. "Oh, hello dear."
"Mrs. Mills, I... need your help." Tory said
Sharon nodded and gently smiled at the teen in front of her. "Okay. Come on in."
