𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 finishing her makeup, Scarlett stood in front of the en-suite bathroom mirror applying hairspray to her blonde curls. After finishing her hair, she stepped into the bedroom and looked at her reflection in the mirror: blonde hair curled and clipped in a half ponytail, her makeup was kept natural, and a black dress, which once belonged to her mother.

The dress itself was beautiful, and had a satin bow and a rhinestone simulated pearl brooch, a built-in boned corset, and a two-tiered skirt. After spritzing J'Adore Lor perfumue on her pulse points, she put on her black manolo flats, and grabbed her shiny black clutch wallet.

"Scarlett, are you ready honey? We have to go." Sharon called from down the hall

Scarlett grabbed her favorite Hourglass lipgloss and her Armani beauty pressed powder and placed them in her clutch wallet. Turned off her light, and walked down the stairs. The family of three walked out the door, and Richard locked the door behind him and opened the door for both his wife and his daughter.

As Scarlett sat down in the backseat, she heard her phone ping. As she took it out of her clutch wallet, she opened her phone to see a message from Robby, her face lit up.

Robby ❤️

You look beautiful. I love you.
Have fun tonight.

Thanks hon. I love you too. I know
I've said it like a million times, but thank
you for the afternoon.

You don't have to thank me. I should
be the one thanking you. Anyway, I won't keep you,
but text me later. Love you.

I love you too.

Upon arriving at the country club, and parking in the valet parking, Scarlett and her parents got out of the Mercedes, and the valet took the mercedes to park it. Richard and Sharon walked into the country club, arms linked, while Scarlett walked beside them, they saw couples dancing on the dance floor, or eating dinner.

"So what's first? Should we get a drink?" Sharon asked

"To get through this party, I would say yes. Especially if we're going to be sitting with my parents who will be hounding Ali about the divorce." Richard said

"You should have heard her yesterday." Sharon chuckled as they reached the bar.

"Hi Richard, Sharon, Scarlett. Merry Christmas." the bartender named Brett smiled. "What can I get for you three?"
