"𝐈'𝐌 telling you this is going to work." Robby said, as he put one of Johnny's old mixtapes in his walkman, which he gifted to Robby, and pressed play, then placed the headphones on Scarlett's growing baby bump

Robby sat down beside her on the couch and wrapped his arm around her, then placed his hand on her growing baby bump, and she did the same. As Dr. Feelgood began to play, the baby was as still as stone. It didn't like the sound of rock music at all, which was strange, considering it's paternal grandfather and maternal grandfather were fans of classic rock.

"Why isn't the baby kicking?" Scarlett asked

"Hey, don't worry beautiful." Robby reassured. "It's probably too soon."

Taking the walkman headphones off her stomach, Scarlett suggested, "Maybe we can try talking to it instead?"

"What are we even supposed to say?" Robby asked

"Whatever you want." Scarlett smiled

"Hey kiddo." Robby smiled as he placed his hand on Scarlett's baby bump. "I'm your dad. You know, growing up, I didn't have a dad, but we're on the right path now. I promise, I'm always going to be there for you and your mom. I want you to know how much you're loved. By me, by your mother, by everyone." Robby placed a soft kiss on her baby bump and the baby kicked

"Robby, it kicked." Scarlett smiled. "It's gonna love you more than me."

"No way." Robby smiled. "I don't mind if the baby loves you more than me beautiful."

"So my appointment is at 1, they're gonna ask us if we wanna know the gender. Do you wanna know, or do you wanna wait?" Scarlett asked

"Yeah, I wanna know." Robby said. "Besides, I think it's a girl."

"Nah, I think it's a boy." Scarlett said as she stood up and walked into the kitchen to prepare breakfast

"You thought about any baby names?" Robby asked as he served himself and Scarlett a glass of orange juice

"Not really." Scarlett said. "What about you?"

"Can't think of any." Robby said, giving her a glass of orange juice

"Don't worry hon." Scarlett reassured. "We have plenty of time."

The couple sat in the doctor's office waiting to be seen. Robby sat there, looking anxious. He was trying to hide it, for Scarlett's sake, as he promised he would be strong for her, but he was a new father. Scarlett, noticing her boyfriend's nervousness, took his hand in her own.

"Babe, you alright?" Scarlett asked

"Yeah, I'm alright." Robby said. "I'm sorry beautiful, I just don't want to screw this up. I don't want to repeat the mistakes of my dad. That's my worst nightmare."

"Hey, you look at me." Scarlett said and Robby turned to look at her. "You're the most amazing man I know. Sure you've made a few mistakes here and there, we all have, but that's what makes us human. That's your past, and now, you have a future. A few years from now, the karate mess, it's all gonna blip on the radar. I promise".

Gently resting his forehead against her's, Robby allowed a few tears to escape as he placed his hand on her baby bump, and he kissed her lips sweetly, when they heard the door open.

"Scarlett?" April said. "We're ready for you sweetie."

After getting her current weight, vital signs, urine, and blood, which were all great, and Dr. Bridges came in and smiled at the couple. "Hi guys." she said as she sat down in front of the couple.

"Hi, Dr. Bridges." Scarlett smiled. "Hey Dr. Bridges." Robby smiled

"You ready to check on your baby?" Dr. Bridges asked as she prepped the sonogram machine and placed the gel onto Scarlett's baby bump. The couple nodded as the ultra sound began. "The heart beat is excellent, overall it's a healthy baby. Would you two like to know the gender?" she asked

Scarlett looked at Robby, who smiled and nodded. "Yes, please." Scarlett smiled

"It looks like the two of you are carrying a beautiful and healthy baby girl." Dr. Bridges smiled. "Congratulations to you both."

Scarlett couldn't stop the tears that fell from her beautiful blue eyes. "Oh, Robby."

"I knew it was a girl." Robby smiled as he placed a kiss on her forehead. She'll be a spitfire. Just like her mom."

"Congratulations to you both, and I'll see you next month." Dr. Bridges said.

"Thanks doc."

It was 8:45 pm and Scarlett was sitting on the couch watching The Notebook, when Robby came into the living room, with two slices of Carmen's tres leches cake for them.

"Here you go." Robby smiled, giving her the tres leches cake. "Thought you might be hungry."

"Thank you babe." Scarlett smiled, as she snuggled into her boyfriend, and he wrapped his arm around her.

"What are we watching?" Robby asked

"The Notebook." Scarlett smiled

"I still can't believe we're having a girl." Robby smiled. "She's gonna be beautiful and kind, just like her mom. I remember the first time I met you in tech town, you were so beautiful and so kind."

"So were you." Scarlett smiled

As the couple continued to laugh and reminisce, and watch the movie, Scarlett placed her hand on her baby bump and Robby did the same, when they felt their daughter swiftly kick.

"Oh my God." Scarlett smiled. "Did you feel that?" Robhy smiled and nodded, then kissed her temple. "It gave me an idea for her name."

"Yeah?" Robby said

"Allie Grey." Scarlett smiled. "I've always been close with aunt Ali, and you're middle name is Swayze, so I just figured—"

"It's beautiful." Robby smiled. "I love Allie Grey."

"Me too hon." Scarlett smiled. "Me too."
