12:00 AM

𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓 woke up to the sound of Allie crying on the baby monitor. She got out of bed and ran a hand through her long blonde hair and Robby stirred awake

Allie was now a few days old, and Scarlett and Robby had a few sleepless nights. Since Scarlett stayed at home, she could sleep it off during the day, as Richard and Sharon, and even Ali, Carmen, and Shannon were there to help her, but it was harder for Robby as he had to get up and go to work with Johnny the next day.

"Beautiful, what's wrong?" Robby asked as he sat up in the bed

"She's hungry." Scarlett said as she tied the belt on her robe.

"You want me to come and help you?" Robby asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes

"I'm alright honey." Scarlett reassured. "Besides, you have work in the morning. I'll be fine."

After giving him a kiss, and Robby laid back down and went back to sleep, Scarlett stepped out of their bedroom and carefully closed the door behind her.

"Sweetheart, is everything okay?" Sharon asked as she and Richard stepped out of the guest room, and Shannon stepped out of her guest room as well

Jenna smiled and nodded. "It's fine guys. Go on back to bed."

After her parents and Shannon walked back into the guest rooms, Scarlett walked into her daughter's nursery. After carefully picking her daughter up from the cradle, she sat down in the rocking chair, pulled down one of the straps of her nightgown, and her left breast was exposed. The sweet little baby began to nurse, as Scarlett rubbed soothing circles on her daughter's back.

After feeding her daughter, she fixed her top, then laid sweet little Allie on her shoulder, and burped her until she let out a loud belch. "Bless you." the blonde smiled

Scarlett took Allie to the changing station and changed her diaper before laying her back down. Walking over to the cradle, she gently laid her daughter down and bent down and kissed her forehead.

"Good night for now." Scarlett smiled. "The angels are watching over you."

Scarlett turned and walked out of the nursery, then returned to her and Robby's shared bedroom. "Everything okay?" Robby asked as he stirred awake again

"Everything is fine honey." Scarlett said as she laid down in bed next to him. "I fed and changed her, so we should be ok for a couple of hours at least."

Robby smiled down at his wife, who was already falling fast asleep as he held her close to him, before finally closing his eyes.

2:00 AM

Allie stirred, then began to cry. Scarlett and Robby woke up at the same time. Both yawning, they stood up and stretched, then walked across the hall to check on their daughter.

"Hey sweetheart." Scarlett said, grabbing her daughter from the cradle, then caught a strong scent. "She needs changing, babe."

Scarlett laid Allie down and changed her diaper, then cleaned her up. Once she finished, the newborn stopped wailing.

"Okay little girl, off to bed we go." Robby said as he gently picked little Allie up from the changing station

Scarlett cleaned the changing area, then threw the trash away. After going into the bathroom to wash her hands locked the door, went back upstairs got back in bed, and pulled the covers over her body as Robby joined her.

"Is she asleep?" Scarlett asked as she laid her head down on the pillow

"Yes." Robby said as he pulled Scarlett's body closer to his. "You think she'll stay asleep?"

"Sweetheart, she's a newborn." Scarlett laughed as she snuggled into him, then kissed his jaw. "Goodnight for now. I love you."

"I love you too."

3:00 am

Once again, Scarlett woke up to the sound of Allie crying. Scarlett sat up and yawned, then ran a hand through her long blonde hair. Robby didn't even budge. Now, did she get upset? Of course not, because she understood he had to go to work, and he was trying to be the husband that she deserved and the father that their daughter deserved

Getting out of bed, Scarlett wrapped her robe around her body, then walked down the hall to her daughter's nursery. After grabbing a prepared bottle breastmilk from the fridge, she set it on the table, then picked her daughter up, and sat down in the rocking chair, and fed her daughter. After giving her daughter the bottle and burping her, she began to rock her daughter to sleep.

"You remind me a lot of myself y'know. I'm a light sleeper too. I always have been. I guess it's a good thing huh?" Scarlett smiled as she placed her finger on her daughter's hand, only for Allie to take it.

Allie's hazel eyes fluttered shut as her mother continued to rock her. "Your father and I met Tech Town. He was mixed in with the wrong crowd and was supposed to scam the first person who came into the store. But the first person who came in was me. We were both trained in karate by your uncle Daniel, who has a long and complicated history with your grandfather, Johnny."

Scarlett held her daughter close to her and kissed her forehead. "Life is complicated, my dear Allie. Even though it's complicated, I know you will always choose the right path and you will never doubt your place in this world, because you are so loved. I promise you, I will always protect you, and I will never let anybody hurt you."

Scarlett stood up from the rocking chair and laid her daughter down in her cradle. She leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead, then turned on the ballerina system mobile, which played the Gone With the Wind Main Title Theme.

"Goodnight my Angel." Scarlett said as she smiled down at her newborn. "The angels are watching over you."
