Third Person POV
When you're doing something in a routine and it keeps happening, forgetting it becomes easy because it happens so often that you simply stop caring about it, it becomes a part of a programming that is set to happen again and again.
Having hook ups just to get the buzz of frustration and millions of jumbled thoughts out of your mind for a while is a routine and with the flow, Jeongguk forgets the faces because they're new everytime and he forgets them easily because nothing exciting happens anyways.
Because there's nothing worth remembering. There's no heat behind it, no drive, no desire. There's no skin to skin contact, no feeling of a body completely against his own that could drive him crazy even with clothes being a barrier.
There's no fucking contact that leaves him reeling and out of his mind, the contact of lips, hard, wet, demanding, taking, needing and fucking craving them.
So how can if be memorable?
Now something out of the ordinary and that too when you're the one who has caused it, is certainly memorable.
So memorable that ever since it happened, which is just two days, Jeongguk has been so out of it that he believes it was a dream, a hallucination because he got drunk in Nova.
Even though it felt so fucking real that his hands itch to hold those thighs again, that waist again, claim those lips again.
The craving of it had been so strong that Jeongguk was almost about to run to the shop and how hard it was to stop himself. He had never lost control of his thoughts and conscious like this.
Well except when he fucking kissed Taehyung and he kissed back.
He thinks much damage could've avoided if Taehyung had just pushed him away and slapped him for stepping out of line. The fact that Taehyung kissed back just as much ready had made it all completely dangerous.
Utterly and completely dangerous for Jeongguk.
Jeongguk leans back to his couch and groans because the night after the kiss was his match so Taehyung didn't come to his apartment and now, he could be anytime and Jeongguk doesn't fucking know what he'll do.
So, after years of a monotonous life, something happened so unexpected, scaring Jeongguk so bad that it doesn't leave his mind.
Well every encounter with Taehyung had been out of ordinary, even a miniscule glance at him most of the times made his heart beat out of ordinary rhythm.
And Jeongguk knows how he can't let his life be out of ordinary because he cannot afford it.
All the money in the world yet he cannot fucking afford this.
The bell rings and Jeongguk's heart takes a small stutter and he thinks there's no need to be so childish about it and let Taehyung in.
What really could happen?
Jeongguk opens the door and there stands Taehyung, eyes casted downwards, that goddamn lower lip being nervously abused by his teeth, so softer than he himself had did a work on it.
He's wearing a white hoodie this time, it doesn't look warm, just fashion and it has cuts on it and it's fucking adorable on him.
He's also holding a base, akin to the one he broke when Jeongguk picked him up and the memory of it has Jeongguk gritting his teeth because it all comes crashing back to him, that damn night.
