Third Person POV
a filler chapter
"I'm not made of glass." Taehyung rolls his eyes.
"I know but I'd rather not punch you anyway." Jeongguk says.
"Unless you're a little masoch*ist, petal." He smirks.
"You never know, Jeon." Taehyung shrugs playfully as they're now in he middle of the ring.
"Oh, I'm the only one who gets to know." Jeongguk scoffs, a hint of possessiveness in his voice and Taehyung basks in the enjoyment of it.
"Just don't throw a punch at me as if I'm a light feather or something." Taehyung says and takes a rather dramatic stance, arms forward and knees bent, smirking at Jeongguk.
"But you're a petal." Jeongguk chuckles. "And with the way you just took a stance, is completely wrong."
"Oh please." Taehyung scoffs.
"Who's the expert here again?" Jeongguk raises his eyebrow in a challenge.
"First of all." Jeongguk rounds Taehyung and stands at his side. "Never bend forward or bend your knees this much."
He helps Taehyung straighten his waist by holding and guiding it and Taehyung unwinds his knees a bit too.
"Keep your elbows close to your body." Jeongguk cups his elbow and brings it close to his chest. "Fists close to your chin."
"Now angle your legs accordingly, align them." Jeongguk instructs and Taehyung follows, seemingly into it.
"Remember." Jeongguk stands in front of Taehyung. "You have to protect your vital organs, block the blow on them."
"Boxing underground doesn't give a shit about ethical rules most of the times. There are fights fought until one's no longer good for life even." Jeongguk says and Taehyung shudders at the thought of it.
"Protect this cute nose of yours." Jeongguk slightly boops it, makes Taehyung scrunch it adorably. "And your jaw as well."
"There's never a perfect stance. It works different for everyone but similar at the same time." Jeongguk says.
"Then what?" Taehyung frowns.
"Just your ability to your senses and how well you do." Jeongguk says. "Your eyes should keep track of both your and your opponent's movement. Trying to know what his next move will be and simultaneously knowing how you'll block it."
"I absolutely hate this." Taehyung says and Jeongguk chuckles.
"Let's get you punching them." Jeongguk says and holds his palm in front of him.
"Hit as hard as you're capable of." Jeongguk challenges.
"What a narcissistic piece of shit thing to say." Taehyung scoffs.
"I'm going to fuck you right in the middle of this right petal, don't test me." Jeongguk says and Taehyung gulps.
He's not opposed to the idea at all. He can see things escalating---
