Mr Lixin is waiting for me at the door. I smile and wave, pushing back the pain.

"Thank you for coming to pick me on such a short notice." I thank him. He nods, smiles and opens the door for me. Iget in.

It takes fifteen minutes to drive to Felix's house, and in those minutes I close my eyes, thinking deeply about my scars.

We reach Felix's house and lenna and Felix are waiting for us there. I get off and greet them.

"Gosh Haven! You had us worried!" Lenna exclaims, latching on to my arm. I suck in a painful breath, "I'm sorry, I'll inform you in advance next time." I smile.

We go in with Felix in lead.

"So first of all, I'll take a test to see your dancing skills. Then we'll diving into the enchanting world of fan language," she declared, holding up an old-fashioned fan adorned with delicate lace.

My eyes widened with curiosity, while Felix leaned in eagerly, his interest piqued. "Fan language? What's that?" he asked, his voice tinged with excitement.

Lenna chuckled softly, her fingers tracing the intricate patterns on the fan. "Oh, it's a delightful form of communication used by ladies in the past to convey messages discreetly," she explained, her words carrying a sense of nostalgia.

"Anyways dance test first!" Lenna claps her hands and Felix and I take our positions. With a nod of encouragement, she signaled for the music to begin, a lively melody filling the air.

Felix extended his hand to me with a charming smile, his eyes alight with excitement as we stepped onto the dance floor together. My heart raced with a mixture of nervousness and exhilaration, my hand trembling slightly as I placed it in Felix's. Despite my apprehension, I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth at the thought of dancing with him.

As we began to move in rhythm to the music, my injuries began to protest, a dull ache spreading through my body like wildfire. But i refused to let it show, my determination to enjoy the moment outweighing the pain.

I forced a smile onto my lips, masking the discomfort with practiced ease, hoping my movements were graceful and fluid despite the invisible burden I carried.

Felix, ever observant, couldn't help but notice the slight falter in my steps, a furrow forming between his brows as concern crept into his features. Sensing something amiss, he leaned in close, his voice soft with worry as he whispered, "Are you okay?"

My heart skipped a beat at his question, touched by his genuine concern. I nodded faintly, my smile faltering for a fleeting moment as I met his gaze. "I'm fine, just a little sore," I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.

But Felix wasn't convinced, his worry deepening. "You don't have to push yourself, you know," he insisted, his tone gentle yet firm as he guided me in our dance, his touch reassuring against my trembling hand.

I smiler, grateful at his worry. We finished the dance and waited for Lenna's approval.

"My! That was wonderful!" Lenna claps. "Now we shall start with our next lesson, you may sit!" At her permission, I fall onto the couch.

Felix's Pov

As Lenna delved into the intricate world of fan language, she guided Haven and me through a myriad of gestures, each one carrying its own unique message.

With a playful glint in her eye, Lenna demonstrated the "kiss me" sign, her fan lightly brushing against her lips in a tantalizing gesture.
