Felix's Pov

"What was that!" Angelica seemed stunned as we re-entered the palace, her eyes wide with shock. Erebus, standing beside her, appeared equally astonished, his usually composed demeanor slightly ruffled.

"Well, that was a surprise," Valor admitted, shaking his head in disbelief.

Angelica turned to me, her face a mixture of awe and confusion. "Felix, did you know this would happen?"

I shrugged, trying to play it cool. "Not exactly. Haven has always had a strong connection with the dragons, but this... this was beyond any of our expectations."

Erebus looked at me sharply. "You knew already, didn't you?"

I met his gaze, knowing there was no point in hiding it. Before I could answer, Haven spoke up, stopping the barrage of questions. "Shouldn't we be thinking about the engagement ceremony? It starts in an hour."

At this, Lenna screamed, "Oh my God! We need to get you ready!" She hurried Haven inside, leaving the rest of us standing in the hallway.

I laughed, about to follow them, when Erebus stopped me. "I'll help you change," he said, his tone indicating he wanted to talk.

I nodded, and we walked to the dressing room. As I was being dressed, Erebus questioned me. "You knew already, did you not?"

Feigning ignorance, I replied, "About what?"

Erebus's eyes narrowed. "About the dragons and Haven."

We looked at each other in silence for a moment. I sighed, giving in. "I did."

"Why did you not tell us?" His frustration was clear.

"Because the dragons told us not to," I explained. He was about to say more, but I interrupted. "Look, you need to trust Haven. She is one of the most talented and special people out there. I mean, did she not prove it?"

Erebus nodded slowly. "She did."

"Alright then, I'll leave you alone," he said, standing up. He paused at the door. "Felix, just... be careful."

"I will," I assured him as he left.

As I finished getting ready, my mind raced with thoughts of the ceremony ahead. It was going to be a significant moment, not just for Haven and me, but for everyone watching. And despite all the surprises, I knew we were ready.

The engagement ceremony is beautiful. I stand there, clad in a striking gold suit. The suit is tailored to perfection with intricate silver embroidery along the sleeves and collar, giving it an elegant yet contemporary flair.

Nervousness bubbles inside me, not because of the ceremony itself-I've already done this once-but because I'm finally getting engaged to the love of my life.

It's not the fear of mumbling or stuttering that terrifies me; it's the lingering question of what could disrupt our love story. Up until now, nothing has stood in our way. Where is the villain in our story? When do I get to play the hero?

The ceremony is a grand affair, attended by the most influential people from all around Magix. Guests have come from Urgulla, with its lush forests and mystical creatures.

From Soliora, the sunlit city of eternal summer.

From Lumene, the land of perpetual twilight.

From Samara, the war realm with its fierce warriors.

From Koselig, the cozy village nestled in snowy mountains, home of romance itself.

From Sapientia, the city of scholars and wisdom.
