Talia was great at consoling Rhea, however she really wanted a smoke, which was a habit Tiana's daughter highly frowned upon. After her encounter with the four kids from the isle, she didn't get a chance to smoke, so after one of the worst day's of her life, she figured she deserved a single cigarette.

She took her usual route to the kitchen, and she sure was a site to see. She was wearing a pair of lilac pyjamas, a matching set with a short-sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts. The top had a little sun embroidered on a pocket at her chest, and the shorts had many suns, all over them.

Paired with her pyjamas, she wore a pair of unicorn slippers that Talia had gifted her for Christmas the year prior. She was of course carrying a clutch which had a hip flask of enchanted lake water, as well as cigarettes and a lighter.

To tie her look together, her once perfect makeup was ruined with mascara streaks staining her face. Overall, it wasn't her favourite look to be spotted in.

Luckily for her, by the time she desired to smoke and bake, most had decided it was time to sleep, so she had no unfortunate run ins on route. She decided she would bake brownies and have a smoke while they were baking, so she pre-heated the oven.

She had poured melted unsalted butter, cocoa powder, as well as brown and caster sugar into a bowl when she heard the door creak open. She looked up and saw Jay.

"Sup," he greeted before he saw her face, "Holy shit, are you alright?"  Not only was she sporting her ruined makeup, but her skin was puffy and her eyes were red.

"Well, I just had my relationship ruined in front of the entire school  and my friend group is going to crumble, so honestly no." She confessed as she measured half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and dumped it into her bowl.

"Wait, who were you dating?" He asked as she measured a tablespoon of espresso powder, "You mentioned you had a boyfriend but I don't think you said who he was."

"Chad." She confessed.

"Oh, damn. I thought you and the CEO of bit-, I mean Audrey, were friends." He said as she cracked the first egg into the bowl.

"So did I," she confessed as she cracked the second egg and laughed at the apparent nickname he had for her former friend, "Here, you're strong- why don't you use your biceps to use and mix this for me." He agreed and she passed him the bowl before grabbing a second bowl.

"That was a shitty for them to do," He reassured her, "What are you making, anyways."

"Brownies, I make the best batch in all of Auradon, you know." She hyperbolized as she added all-purpose flour into the bowl.

"Do you, now? I think I might have to be the judge of that." He teased with a smile as she added a smaller amount of bread flour. He had the prettiest smile she had ever seen.

"Might not be as good since I've recruited you as my assistant." She continued with the teasing, causing jay to let out a faux offended gasp as she added baking powder.

"I am a pro mixer, I'll have you know!" He responded as she added a pinch of salt into the bowl, before passing it to Jay to mix.

"Okay, Mr Professional, quickly stir that then add them to the other bowl and fold them together, I'm going to get chocolate chips." She instructed before climbing to get them.

"What do you mean fold?" He questioned, so she lifted a spatula and handed it to him. She stood beside him, but slightly behind and she  placed her hands over his and showed him how to do it.

"You get it?" She asked, to which he nodded, "Good, fold it together, them fold these in." She told him as she measured 150g of chocolate chips, was he'd completed his task, she slowly sprinkled chips in as he continued to fold the batter.
