Ben and Mal were going on their first date. Rhea was over the moon for them, but for some reason Mal and Evie invited her to dress Mal up. They had also said Talia could come, as Evie had taken an immediate liking to the girl, but she'd promised that she would help Ben get everything ready for the date.

She and Evie worked together to through together an outfit that would fit the dress code, while also making sure Mal's personality could shine through. Once Rhea briefed them on the dress code, Evie realised she had made Mal the perfect purple dress, which Rhea suggested she pair with black studded boots she had seen her wear around campus.

"Have you ever been on a date before?" Rhea asked the blue haired girl while Mal was getting changed.

"No, dates and meaningful relationships aren't really a thing on the isle." She informed the girl, "There's a hookup culture, but getting with a couple people is basically the same as getting with every person your age. It's even worse since there's no protection."

"Really?" Rhea was shocked at this news, she wanted safety for all citizens under Ben's rule, maybe this topic would have to come up in conversation (even though it's awkward to talk about with someone she considers a second brother).

"It's so bad!" She exclaimed, grateful to finally have someone to discuss this with, especially someone who could fix these issues, "I can't even express how shocked I was when I saw a bowl of condoms in the dorm hallways, especially since it seems so taboo here."

"I mean, it's quite taboo still, but I think they understand there's no way to prevent it and they would rather have a few condoms in a bowl then us being unsafe and have people running around with STDs and unwanted pregnancies."

At that moment Mal walked out of the bathroom, "What'cha talking about?"

"Sex." Evie bluntly confessed, to which the other girls' jaws dropped.

"Evie! The poor girl is going through a breakup- have some compassion." Mal scolded her friend, causing Rhea to let out a light laugh.

"Don't worry about it, Mal. She didn't have any ill-intent." She looked the girl up and down, analysing the outfit, "You look cute, by the way."

"Thanks, Evie is my only way to look half decent." She confessed, giving the blue haired girl a soft smile, causing her features to light up with joy.

"Oh, Mal," She gushed, "I always knew you were a big softie, really." She got interjected by a playful 'shut up' to which she rolled her eyes and beckoned her over to do her makeup as Rhea simultaneously curled her hair.

The girls talked about various things, Rhea asking Evie more about her love of fashion, who happily told her about her obsession from a young age, transitioning into a story of a girl from the isle, Dizzy, who used to make accessories to match her outfits.

"Okay. Easy on the blush. I don't want to scare him away. Not that I could." Mal told Evie, although Rhea was confused by her last phrase, she opted to stay quiet and let them have their moment.

"Please," Evie rolled her eyes, "my mom taught me how to apply blush before I could talk. Always use upward strokes."

"My mom was never really big on makeup tips. I never had a sister." Mal confessed as Rhea briefly zoned out.

"Well, now you do. We're going to need all the family we can get If we don't pull this off. My mother's not a barrel of laughs when she doesn't get her way. Just ask Snow White."

"Are you afraid of her?" Mal asked, catching Rhea's attention.

"Sometimes. Are you afraid of your mom?"
