After meeting the villain kids Rhea went to her brother's dorm for a debrief with Talia. "So?" The younger girl asked as Rhea entered the room, "Tell us everything!"

"They're sweet kids, I can feel it. Although I'm worried about how they react to the inevitable bullying. I want to give them every opportunity to thrive here but Audrey's already tried to pick a fight with Mal and Evie- separately!" The girl was frustrated with her friend, she loved her but she was currently being, for lack of better words, a massive bitch. It was infuriating since Rhea had dreamed about getting the kids off that island since she was twelve and learned about the horrible living conditions they had to endure because of their family history.

"Yeah, she was acting like such an elitist from what we could hear at the welcoming ceremony." Elijah agreed with her, nodding his head along to her words, which was incredibly reassuring since she worried she was being to childhood friend.

"On top of that, I think Ben and Mal were flirting at one point. Which could be cute if him and Audrey break up." Their jaws dropped at the idea of the future king flirting with the daughter of the 'worst villain' that was on the isle.

"Really!" Talia exclaimed, "Oh, tell us about Jay!" She kept her energy levels high and looked very interested in her answer, which was unlike Talia.

"Why you so curious? Does my little Tals have a crush on our new boy?" She tried to tease the girl, but the other two shared a look and laughed a little.

"No, Rhea, but he seems to have a crush on you!"

"Don't be ridiculous, Tals, I just met him." She spoke in a motherly way.

"God, you are so smart, Rae." Her brother rolled his eyes at the girls naïvety , "It's not like the boy's eyes weren't all over you in a way your poor siblings should ever have to witness." He gestured to himself and Talia while over dramatically shivering, "I, personally, am traumatized after that."

"Don't be a drama queen, besides I have Chad." She responded and the duo sat opposite hers let out a vague noise of disgust.

"The two of you are as compatible as my, uh-" Talia trailed of while trying to think of a good example, "I don't know what, but it's very low levels. You two haven't looked publicly happy for, like, four months and we all know that it's not any better in private."

"Talia!" The older girl exclaimed, but her friend was adamant.

"Rhea, you don't look happy. Every time you're around him you're visibly deflated. I'm not telling you to break up with him but maybe you should consider yourself rather than what's expected of you."

"But-"

"She has a point, Rae," Her brother interjected, "I know you didn't want this, but of course when someone higher up suggests you do something to better your image you do it. It's not a problem, but when you start acting sad anytime your boyfriend's around it might be time for a change."

The girl was quiet for a moment, trying to process their words before they broke out into an argument. It was true what Elijah had said, while her and Chad had been friends for years, the only reason she even considered a date with him was because Audrey's grandmother had near insisted on it, insulting the girl for staying single and not trying to find a husband.

However, almost a year later, she couldn't imagine not dating Chad, not necessarily in a good way, though, as they had argued pretty much every day for the past four months. If there was one thing Rhea knew it was that their arguments would not cease with the arrival of the new quartet, if anything it would only get worse.

Rhea sighed loudly, "I get what you mean, but as a couple we have to try and work through this, we can't just break up because it's more convenient than communicating well."

Elijah put his arm around his little sister, "I know, but we just want you to be happy again. We miss our sister, I mean who else can I have a full blown argument with then get ice cream with half an hour later like nothing every happened?" He joked and both the girls smiled.

"I love you both." She mumbled to her family to which they responded with the same sentiment.

"Do you want to talk about what happened earlier, before the greeting ceremony?"

"No, not really. But I will. When we were getting ready to leave Chad was saying how it was a bad idea, knowing I've always dreamed about getting the kids off that island and when I asked if he was annoyed he was all sarcastic and sulky. Since I'm Ben's royal advisor, I just know he was blaming me."

Elijah rolled his eyes at that, "It's so stupid to blame you for that, though. You advise Ben, you don't have the final say or anything." He dragged out the 'advise' as if the two girls weren't aware of Rhea's job title.

"I know! But I can't just let him go, I really care for him, and it would completely throw off our group's friendship dynamic and the media coverage would definitely make me seem like the bad guy no matter what!" Rhea ranted to her brother and sister, to which the pair shared a knowing look.

They both knew she was making excuses to delay the inevitable: the breakup; sorrow for what could have been if they weren't forced together; the same friend group they had since they were six quickly deteriorating. The two were smart enough to know that this wouldn't last, they had claimed so since the start, yet they didn't want Rhea to feel all the pain.

Talia was about to provide some comforting words when Rhea's phone began to ring. She picked the phone up and looked disturbed, she mouthed to the others it was the museum. They detailed to her about a false alarm that had went off in the museum, that they wanted her to check out.

She rolled her eyes and stood up, eager to get this over and done with, "Gotta go, sorry." She told them before explaining the situation, which she was pretty sure lay well outside her job description, "See you in the morning." She gave them each a quick hug before hurriedly exited the building to go to the museum.
