The next morning, Rhea woke up with a groan as her alarm clock incessantly beeped. She hit it off and reluctantly rolled out of bed. It was the day of the match, so she wanted to look presentable.

She wore a khaki green mini skirt paired with a pale purple tank top that had little darker purple flowers. She also grabbed a green cardigan that had a similar shade to her skirt and tied it around her shoulders. For footwear, she quickly settled on her favourite light purple high-top converse.

Talia somehow managed to escape waking up to the foul alarm and all the noise her roommate created, so Rhea shook her awake, "We have to be out of the dorm in twenty for breakfast." She told her friend before going to the en suite bathroom.

By the time Rhea left the bathroom, Talia was dressed, but she was still wearing her green silk bonnet as she put on some light makeup, "Hey, Rea. Can you style my hair while I do this?" She asked before promising to do something cute with Rhea's hair afterwards.

The blonde agreed and decided to turn a couple of her braids into 'bows'. She brought some of  her hair into two ponytails on the top on her head, she then created two loops on a braid and secured them with a hair elastic, repeating it on the other side, making it look as if braided bows were holding her hair in ponytails.

"We're going to sit with Mal and Evie today." She told her friend who was putting her hair into bubble braids.

"Really? That will be nice." She hummed, "Where's your enchanted lake water, your hair's too short." Rhea handed her the spray bottle in her drawer and Talia sprayed the ends of her hair and waited for it to grow to the desired length (the best part of her magic hair was the ability to cut it and grow it with Enchanted Lake water) before cutting it to stop the speedy growing, before continuing with her hair. 

As she did this, Rhea applied highlighter to the inner corners of her eyes and the tip of her nose. She then curled her lashed and applied mascara, the grabbing her favourite lipgloss and popping it in her purse since they were going to eat before the match.

"You ready?" Talia asked as she grabbed her purse and Rhea nodded as she did the same. They exited their dorm and headed to the cafeteria, where they queued for food.

"We are literally going to be some of the most important- and busiest- people in Auradon next month, why can we not get special passes to skip the queue?" Talia whined and Rhea nodded in agreement, desperate for her breakfast.

The girls eyed the toaster desperately, both wanting toasted bagels. Eventually when they (finally) got their food they looked around for their friends, however they could only see Elijah so they went to sit with him and his friend Jalil, the son of Aladdin and Jasmine.

"How are you both feeling about the tourney match?" Rhea asked the two boys who were both on the team.

"I don't know," Jalil said, "We haven't had much time to practice with the new guys. That Jay guy seems violent as hell."

"Really?" Rhea asked, "They all seemed sweet whenever I talked to them."

"You only talked to them once," her brother reminded her, although that wasn't quite true, "first impressions aren't always right."

She ate the rest of her breakfast in silence, an uneasy feeling had washed over her after hearing them talk so negatively about the people who helped her last night.

When everyone was finished with their food, Rhea gave Elijah a quick side hug wishing him luck before she and Talia quickly left to meet up with the two girls.

"What's wrong?" Talia asked her friend.

"I just have an odd feeling in my stomach, let's go quickly so we can find Mal and Evie."
