Jia smiled as she saw her father looking into her childhood albums. She put the coffee mug infront of him as she sat down."Jia, you remember this? When we went to disney land and you insisted on getting ready like a princess-" she cut him off.
"And you told me I already was one." He smiled.
He did as she wanted and got her ready like a princess but not any other disney princess, but different, he wanted her to have an identity of her own.
"I wonder how this princess would look on her wedding day. I am going to be so particular about it." He replied.
"Hmm, I want to tell you about something." She urged sipping her coffee."I might be in love and looking for a lifetime togetherness." She said swirling her finger on the cup line.
"With whom?" Her father was already protective.
What if she was dating a wrong guy?
"You like him. You know him too." She played puzzles.
"Jimin?" He was happy to think of that."He is the only guy I have seen with you that I actually like."
"No." She groaned."Taehyung." She corrected him.
"That guy? I was suspicious of you both from the start. How did it happen?" He asked.
"Well we are looking for a good and common end so let's not start from how it happened, it just happened and I never realized it." She said feeling weird about talking about her love life to her dad.
"An end?" He asked not getting her.
"An end of the current relationship we are sharing. We have decided to put names to each other now." She explained.
"Marriage?" He finally got her and was happy and equally despondent about it.
"You got me. His dad wanted to meet you way before, it's just me who kept procrastinating it, unsure of your reaction." She held his hand."Today Taehyung called me and told me that his father has arranged a lunch for us and that you should atleast know what your daughter is getting herself into."
"Sure. We will go." He was skeptical but he went with the flow.
____________
"Taehyung, relax my father is not that judgemental, besides you are already charming and nice, no way he won't like you back." Jia chuckled as she saw Taehyung being extra careful with his appearance.
"I don't want to take a chance when it comes to you." He smiled and kissed her before pulling her and making her sit on his dressing table."Now tell me one thing." He caressed her hair."What will you do if your dad refuses to accept our relationship?" He asked.
Honestly he didn't care about what the old man thought about them being together, he would take away Jia anyway. He just wanted to know her answer. If she would leave him or not.
"Why are you talking about all this? I am sure he won't." He held her nape bridging the gap between their faces.
"In case he does, what will you do? Leave me or runaway with me?" He asked looking into her eyes.
"I will convince him but-"
"There is no but in love Jia, it's either do or a die situation." He spoke irritated.
"How can I be sure of something that hasn't happened yet? I can only decide if that occurs to me."She tried to explain him.
"But I am always sure of what I will be doing if something threatens our relationship." He said with determination."I would take you anyway, not caring about the consequences. The moment I laid my eyes on you, that was the end for everyone to ever separate us, you were written to be mine by me." He told her.
