sorry for the delay.
——-I ended up getting off of work around seven, since it was still early I went by Mateo's before going home. Lately I just wanted to be up under him, so I'd go to his condo every chance I got. When Eli would go to work or Angel's, or whenever he went to chill with Micah; here is where I'd be.
I've actually been here almost everyday this week, but whenever he was around my brother and me. I'd put on the same act, pretending to hate him when, in truth, I loved him deeply. I was getting tired of hiding my feelings; it was becoming repetitive, and I was sick of pretending. Yet, I was too scared to tell my brother the truth. I didn't even know where to start.
"Why do you look so annoyed?" I joked, gazing up at him from my cozy spot on the couch. We were lying together, his hand gently resting on my butt while I tenderly played with his ear.
"I'm not annoyed, just thinkin'." He said as I nestled my head against his chest, the gentle thump of his heartbeat made me feel safe.
"About what?" I questioned as he shook his head and wrapped his arm around my waist. His warm hands slipped under my shirt, gently rubbing my back. The soothing touch made me close my eyes in contentment.
"Nothin' it's not important.." He murmured softly. As I sat up to look at him, I noticed how tired he seemed. I leaned in and gently kissed the corner of his mouth.
"You know you can talk to me about anything, right?" I said as he nodded, wrapping both arms around me before kissing the top of my head.
"I know, and I appreciative you lettin' a nigga be open.. but I just don't have shit to say right now.." He said as I pulled my lips into my mouth letting our current conversation go.
"Would you rather be hit by a car or electrocuted?"
"Man, what?" He laughed, and his laughter was so infectious that it made me smile. It was the sweetest sound, like the gentle bleat of a baby goat. "That shit was random as hell mama," he said, still chuckling.
"I know, but answer the question babe, which one?." I chuckled reaching my hand into his shirt, he shivered a little; I guess my hands were cold.
"I mean, if I get hit by a car, do I at least survive the shit?"
"Yeah." I laughed, rubbing my hand down his side.
"Then I'll take hit by a car for two hundred Alex," He said as we both burst into a fit of laughter. "which one you pickin'?"
"Probably the same thing you picked, electrocution sounds scary." I chuckled, as our laughter died down Mateo tapped my leg making me sit up. "sorry, I gotta use the bathroom." He said as I sat up, he adjusted his grey sweats and I could see the slight bulge, he leaned down to kiss me before making his way to the hallway bathroom.
I grabbed my phone from the coffee table to see a text from Eli.
Eli: where are you at?
