The longer our break went on, the sadder I was becoming. No distractions could help anymore, I just wanted him back; and I missed my puppy.

Grabbing my keys from the counter, I made my way out the door making sure to lock it since Ayla had given me a key. Micah came back from his business trip last week, and if I could be honest; I was starting to feel like a third wheel, plus I had classes tomorrow so that was my excuse to leave.

I was going home, I couldn't go another day without seeing him or Brownie. After tossing my bag into the backseat, I shot a quick text to Ayla of course thanking her for letting me stay there with her, but it was time for me to go back to my home.

Ayla💕- go get your man back pooks! just suck the soul outta him and he'll forgive you 😂🥴🥴🥴

"This damn girl!" I laughed responding to her text before tossing my phone into the cup holder, bringing the engine to life I prayed to myself that he was actually home. I was hoping that we'd have a conversation and make up.

After stopping at Everbowl? I made my way to the condo. Apart of me was nervous to see him, but the other side was excited, I really did miss him.

Parking next to his car, I pulled the keys from the ignition, grabbed our bowls, and headed inside. As I stepped into the elevator alone I looked up as the numbers increased reaching our floor, as the elevator dinged and the doors slid open I stepped out, my heart thumping in my chest.

I took a deep breath and balled my hand into a fist, knocking but making sure to be careful so that I wouldn't drop the bowls.

Hearing a knock at my door, Brownie barked running toward it, he was such a nosy lil' dog.

"B, you know the drill man, back up." I chuckled as he stood beside me, tail wagging as I pulled the door open. I was met with Chey, her hair was dyed with beautiful blonde streaks, she looked... different, but beautiful.
