Star wars the Clone wars: Avona the Master General

The United Front.

Narrator: a fierce attack. Following Avona's  strike against republic forces on alderan the Jedi and senate rally together to contain Avona's offensive along the corelian run. Deducing Avona's next target to be the trimva hyperspace lane the Jedi dispatch masters plo kon and skywalker to contend with this threat.

(Trimva system). Republic

There was an eerie silence over the battle field. Scouting reports had informed Anakin and plo that a separatist fleet consisting of ten frigates and a dreadnought Similar to the calamity was near the moon.

Anakin wanted to launch a full attack to destroy the separatist fleet before they could attack.

However plo urged him to reconsider his options.

(Anakin POV).

I was furious not only was plo holding us back but there was a very good chance that fleet was led by the elusive general Avona the separatist leader in this campaign.

Regardless I choose to cooperate cause he made a strong point.

He said that avona was a rapid attack commander so she most likely had something up her sleeve if she was waiting to attack.

"General. Commander tano reports the troops are in position to defend Trimva from the confederacy." Yularen reports with a salute.

"Very good admiral. Inform all squadrons to be on stand by when-." I was cut off by a massive explosion outside.

"Sir escort ship 234 was destroyed and the others are under attack by some unknown force." A clone reports frantically as they try to establish some order in the fleet.

Looking out the view port what I saw shocked me. The light cruiser paramount was suddenly ripped apart by explosions.

To make matters worse the euphoria, Glorious and the Resonance were damaged by an unknown force.

I began to pace the bridge nervously as yularen tried to calm the crew down.

While pacing the bridge I noticed  the venator Navigator get hit in its engines this was puzzling cause as far as I knew there was no separatist ship capable of hitting our cruisers from the rear undetected.

However we had a ship capable of doing that. Remembering what trench did I issued an order that I hoped would work.

"Everyone set the scanners for magnetic signatures of small ships now." I ordered glancing at yularen conveying a silent message that he immediately understood.

Nodding their heads an engineer informed me of the good news.

"Sir we have a contact nearing our flanks."

"Good fire missiles on that signature now."

(Admiral Vidar) POV.

I was Posied to strike on the enemy flagship but then I saw the ship I tasked with attacking the flagship get hit.

Knowing the republic was into us I called rook.

"Commander Rook I'm afraid you and TX-78 will have to wrap up this naval battle for us the republic is tracking us and I can't lose the rest of my ships."

"Pull back admiral we'll take care of it." Rook replied ending the transmission.

Turning to my crew I issued the order for us to retreat to the Morelia system.

(3rd POV).

Upon receiving Vidars transmission the separatist fleet moved into attack formation and attacked the few remaining republic ships.
