Star wars the Clone wars: Avona the Master General

The Aftermath.

Avona: the war was Bloody and costed both my beloved Confederacy and the republic Millions of Lives.

I joined this war when I was only 19 and now I'm 23 leader of the CIS and yet despite all I've achieved I can't help but feel a deep sadness and sorrow for my fellow citizens and brothers and sisters who died to achieve this peace that our beloved children will get to live in.

My loyal Knight Illiana killed because of Krell. Lancer no longer can move. Admiral Vidar died for what he believed in and fought for.
My own Adopted daughter and my sister almost killed because the republic refused to accept anything but unconditional surrender and our total submission to their oppression.

The Jedi claimed that they were peace makers however they served a system they believed could do no wrong yet it was and they were to blind to see it and it was some of their greatest enemies who helped restore true peace and freedom to both sides.

Only some Jedi saw the truth and much to my anger the senate of the republic protected the few remaining corrupt Jedi and I couldn't bring them to Justice but no matter.

The Jedi failed and now the shadow order will show the galaxy what being a true protector and peace maker is.

Still as I write this entry I must say some final words. The people believed us to be the villain as for so long believed that our droids brought nothing but terror and death to the galaxy.

But what they never saw was the will of the people a peoples whose desires were not to conquered but to be free and live their lives freely from oppression.

That's what we fought for yet how often are we made the villains how often do we ignore the other side who declares themselves saviors.

A republic who lives on peace and freedom no longer exists all that's there was is a dictatorship that believed itself a republic.

We freed thousands and saved millions as we tore through the crime lords and brought them to Justice but now they flee to the republic to escape Separatist Justice.

I wish I could say comfortably that this war was at an end that there would be no further bloodshed and yet I can't help but believe that this war will not entirely die and soon it may come back and I fear the cost of it is reignited.

Closing her Journal Avona turns around as Mila runs into the room and crushed avona in a hug as several people enter her room smiling.

"We did it Avona." Carmiya says her helmet tucked under her arm.

"It is a new era Mistress and know the shadow order will always stand by you." Revan says and Avona could tell he was happy for peace to the galaxy.

"Mandalore will be forever Grateful to you Grand countess we may not be official Allies but we will always come to your aid you need only give the word." Rook says happily.

"Thank you all but I fear what may come next we won this war but what about the next. What will happen when I'm gone who will all die because they believed in freedom and peace." Avona said sadness creeping onto her face.

However as avona fights to stop the tears she feels a hand on her cheek and she opens her eyes to see Mila smiling at her.

"Don't worry mommy we will be ready because of what you taught us and no matter what freedom will never entirely die no matter how many soldiers March to destroy it." She says causing Avona to smile at her.
