Chancellor palpatine furious with the Confederacy winning so many victories was determined to make Avona pay for every inch of the core in blood.
At General Olegs request He issues Order 1217.
(Morelia 1 month later).
Avona sat in silence at the holo net news on Alsakan. The republic in retribution for Alsakan and Corelia and Rodia's secessions to join the Confederacy invaded all three worlds simultaneously.
Avona couldn't believe the extremes that the republic was enacting to stop the confederacy. Palpatine had recently Gave an order called order 1217 which as far as Avona's spies picked up meant this.
Order 1217: an executive order initiated by the executive office of the chancellor designed to implement total war doctrine. These include the conscription of youth 13 and older to the army taxes doubled and resource quotas tripled for all worlds to repel any serious threat to the republic.
Avona had questioned both Vitiate and Revan if such an order had been issued before during the Sith wars to which they simply replied it never happened.
And holo net footage revealed that the republic civilians were rioting and burning down government buildings over the new order.
However what disgusted Avona was the sight of clones and stormtroopers breaking up these riots using lethal force.
Growling Avona pressed some buttons and the holographic figures of Satele and Revan appeared.
"What do we owe the pleasure Grand countess." Satele says bowing.
" this isn't a pleasant call I'm afraid Satele. Lord Revan and lady Satele. We can no longer afford to pull punches it's time to make the republic pay for its crimes." Avona said anger in her voice at the republics actions.
"We shall be ready Countess all you need is give the word." REVAN says bowing.
"Good prepare the shadow army and the Grand shadow fleet it's time for us to end the republics reign of terror for good." Avona declares.
Bowing the two shadow lords end the call while avona turns around to look out her window.
'So much suffering all because we wanted a little freedom.' Avona thinks to herself solemnly about the lives lost during this 3 year long conflict.
(Coruscant senate Building).
Ki adi Mundi, Saase Tin and mace windu are marching towards the chancellor office the reason for it to discuss a new threat they discovered within their own ranks.
Knocking on the door a chime sound is heard signaling them to enter.
"Ah master Jedi welcome." Palpatine says happily.
"Chancellor we have urgent and terrible news." Windu tells him frantically.
"What is that master windu." Palpatine says feigning concern.
"A sect of Jedi are plotting the downfall of the republic and have been in talks with the confederacy to undermine the order as a whole." Mundi says anger in his voice.
"That is terrible how many Jedi do you think are in this sect."
"At least 2'000." Tin says worriedly. "Among them are Yoda and Plo Koon."
"I see ok go back to your temple and prepare the Jedi who are loyal to the republic and I will deploy some republic forces to back you up in the arrest and capture of these Traitorous Jedi." Palpatine declares.
