Chapter 2: Lily...

Wait what?! You're in where now? How? When? How? Your thoughts race, how the fuck did you get here?! It's impossible! It's a fictional place! You'd understand if it were a real place on earth because maybe you just had amnesia or some sort of DID. But this is a fictional place. How did you get here? Maybe you're dreaming. You pinch yourself hard enough to draw blood. Ow. That hurt and you see the red forming on the outline left by your nails. 

Wait…is this real? Are you really in underground city where Levi grew up in? Wait…Levi!!! You look around, maybe he's here. You have no idea what day or year is it. But it won't hurt to ask or look for him, after all, it's not often you have a dream where you end up in your favorite anime. Yes, this is a dream. There's no way this is real. Man…maybe your daydreaming finally got the better of you and you've developed schizophrenia. You shake that thought. It's just a dream, not a severe psychological disorder. 

You walk to the people who've been staring at you for a while now, like you're some crazy person. You don't blame them. The way you examined yourself earlier, inspecting your body and your clothes, any person would mistake you for a cray cray. You ask if they know someone by the name Levi but they didn't know any such person. You describe how he looks, still nothing. You have half the mind to ask them Kenny, but something tells you that's a name you don't just throw around wherever the fuck you are right now. 

You sigh. Man…what even is the year right now? Is Levi even born? If not then whoever sent you here is just cruel. They sent you here just to be titan fodder. The emblem on your sholder felt heavy. Fuuuuck…will you actually have to fight titans? Do you even know how to? Sure, you know archery and some martial arts but those do nothing against titans. Maybe against Annie in her human form? What the fuck are you thinking? Focus!

Pulling on your hair, you groan. You place a hand over your chest. Calm down, it's just a dream. You're not in actual danger. You tell yourself. Subconsciously, you put your hands on your pants’ front pockets and your right hand caught hold of something. It feels like paper. You take it out of your pocket and read it. 

The first word that caught your eyes read “Levi” handwritten just above an underline. The documents contained letters you've never seen before, well, actually, you have, on the anime. The letters is very different from the alphabets you're used to but still you can read and understand its meaning. You look at the document again. Wait…is this what you think it is? Is it an aboveground citizenship? Why do you have it though? 

Does that mean you're going to get him aboveground? Fuck! Where ever do you find him in this unfamiliar place?

You walk again and soon, you spot a familiar building. The front had stairs on both sides, joining on the center and the steps descend to touch the ground. You've seen this building before in the SNK OVA “No Regrets”. It was Levi and his friends' place. 

You run up the stairs and opened the door. You're greeted by an awful stench, the same one surrounding the whole area you've passed by. There's no way Levi is here. You thought knowing his inkling towards cleanliness. Still… “Levi?” You called out quietly, not wanting to attract attention in case he wasn't there. However, you did feel your head pound the second you called out his name. You hold your forehead and squeeze in an attempt to make the sudden headache go away. 

“Farlan?” No answer. “Isabel?” Silence. Your headache's getting worse. The world is spinning and you feel like you'll fall over any second. You lean on the wall for support, hand still pressed on your forehead. You call out again “Levi?” then everything went dark. 

“Are you sure that's what you want?” You hear a voice softly ask. You try to open your but you couldn't. This feels weird. You feel like you're in a haze. “Yes” you hear your voice speak. Wait. Are you talking to someone in your sleep? “What if you're not allowed to alter anything else other than his life? Will you still do it?” You hear the other voice say. ‘His’? Who is ‘his’ whose life are you allowed to alter? “Yes” you hear your voice assert.
