"i just like being a piece of furniture in your weird life".
that line hit me hard.
it touched me in places i haven't been touched,
somewhere in the inner depths of my mind,
somewhere not even mutilation has found.
that's what i am.
furniture.
a chair for you to sit on.
a hook to hang your coat.
a rug to wipe your feet.
a television to watch when you're bored.
i sit in the corner of your house,
i'm just an object you frequent.
nothing more than that.
and truthfully,
i like it.
it's all i need to be content.
as long as i'm not discarded.
