awesome apology, dude!:
not much has changed since i told myself i'd never come back.
and at the same time so much.
your hair has gotten longer.
but i'm still the mess i was before.
you'll tell me you're so sad i left.
prove it.
i am,
i'm writing you this poem.
this poem i'll claim isn't for you.
but we both know that isn't true.
maybe tonight i'll finally leave.
and never come back again.
but i know i will.
i wanna sound really smart in the second stanza.
mature and sophisticated.
like i'm letting myself take the blame.
but i'm so good at playing the victim, so maybe i can't.
maybe i'll just yell about how you're evil,
and how you ruined my life.
it's what everyone else thinks anyway.
i'm too good at twisting the truth,
painting others in a bad light.
manipulate.
blame.
so that's what i'll do.
i love you more than any mosquito.
but i don't think i want to know you anymore.
it doesn't matter.
you didn't even know me when i was living in your brain.
i might want to come running back,
but you won't take me.
it's alright.
i don't need you anymore.
