Great Hall

Sounds of cutleries and gossip surrounded the four tables in the Great Hall. The head of the houses handed out the timetables to the students, and everyone had an array of reactions. Some were aggravated with having Potions as the first class in the morning, while others seemed pleased with the timetable. Atlas glanced at his timetable, paying no heed to Professor Pomona Sprout's words. He stuffed the paper in his bag pack and continued with his breakfast. The bell rang, and the students began to depart to their respective classes, first-years struggling to find the classes. Atlas was among them looking around the hallway, wondering where he should be going,

"Lost?" Atlas turned around to find Cadence standing behind him with a smug smile. Atlas rolled his eyes and wrapped his arm over Cadence's shoulder, the citrusy scent coming from his fluffy hair, "We have a special class; it's in the West towers; hurry along if you don't wanna be late." Cadence called jogging ahead, Atlas ran after him, pushing students as he passed by,

West towers

Lillian kicked her legs under the table, seemingly bored, her brown eyes lingered over Harry, Ron was seated with him and they got along pretty well for someone whom he met yesterday, Hermione was sitting with a chubby boy, and Lillian had no choice but to sit alone, looking at the time on her watch she didn't notice someone hovering around her desk, "Umm, hi, do you... yes you, do you mind if I umm sit with you?" Lillian stared at the flustered boy, his glasses were sliding down the bridge of his long nose, greenish blue eyes avoiding eye contact, his appearance was similar to Harry's,

"Yes," Lillian answered scooting away, the boy pushed his glasses with his finger and shifted his weight awkwardly, Lillian realised he misunderstood her answer, "I mean no, I meant yes," she took a deep breath, "I don't mind, please sit." she finally managed to say,

The boy sat down placing his bag on the desk and taking out his parchment for copying notes, Lillian was looking at him curiously yet shy to introduce herself or ask for his name, a soft breeze blew from one of the large windows and Lillian caught a sniff of watermelon scent she believed it came from the boy beside her,
"Thanks, I am Shea, Shea Zadkiel," the boy introduced after he was done settling down. The girl had thick braids and brown eyes,

"Hi Shea, Lillian Brooks," she beamed; Shea smiled back in response and pointed over to her watch, "The Professor should be arriving any second now. Were you lost?"

"I couldn't find the classroom, and well, it's embarrassing, but I got lost," Shea admitted with a nervous chuckle, a small dimple on his round cheek; Lillian grinned at him, "Slytherin, huh?" He noticed her tie and the green linings on her robes,

"I remember you were sorted at last yesterday, Zadkiel, must be a bummer to stand in line for so long," Lillian started a conversation, "How is Ravenclaw house?"

"It's quite-"

The classroom door swung open, and a man walked in; Lillian placed her finger on her lips, shushing Shea, "Good morning, class. Are you all settled?" The man asked turning around, Lillian's eyes widened in shock, the man was dressed in neat black pants and a crisp white shirt with a matching black tie, hair styled back, a few strands framing his structured face, silver chain hooked from his belt going down the pocket of his pants along with polished black shoes, leaning on the desk his legs crossed, arms supporting his lean body as he observed the fresh faces,

Lillian couldn't take her eyes off him. Before she could admire the man any longer, hurried footsteps burst into the classroom, "You two are late, settle down." the man said in a silky voice, adjusting his glasses on his straight nose. His mahogany orbs narrowed slightly at the late students,

Atlas shuffled in the seat after Cadence muttered a sorry. Once the classroom was open to attention and listening, the man spoke again, leisurely strolling around the classroom, "Anyone missing?" He asked looking at the students, a boy answered with a no, "That's good since everyone is here and this is your first class at Hogwarts, I'll start by introducing myself and explaining the purpose of this class,"
