Professor Snape paused and stared at the entrance of the Potions classroom. The students followed his gaze, "May I come in, Professor?" Cadence asked weakly, Severus Snape raised his eyebrow before continuing with the explanation he was giving, Cadence dragged his feet to a table, Atlas immediately reached out and took his bag, pulling a stool for Cadence to sit on, Cadence dipped his head in thanks, Lillian smiled at Cadence delighted to have her friend back in the classes,
"Mr Robinson and Miss Brooks," Snape called, hovering around their table menacingly; Lillian gulped and stepped back, and Atlas crossed his arms, staring right into Snape's black eyes, "Perhaps you two would like to pay adequate attention to your ruined potion as you do to Mr Morris?"
Lillian lowered her head about to apologise, "Thanks Professor but we are good, will start over again," Atlas responded earning the approval of the Gryffindors, Cadence shook his head, not many had the nerve to talk back to Snape, Atlas might be the only one to sass back other than Harry, the class enjoyed deeply whenever Harry or Atlas spoke back to Snape, it was amusing to see the little expressions on their Potions Professor's face,
Snape waved his wand, and the brownish potion disappeared from their cauldron; Atlas groaned under his breath, trying to grind bouncing bulbs which were escaping his hold, "You called that upon yourself, Atlas," Lillian said, watching the potion, carefully stirring the mixture clockwise, until it turned green.
Atlas smashed the bouncing bulb successfully grinding it, "He'd do that even if I didn't say anything," he passed her the ground bouncing bulb, "Let me have my fun, that man is too terrifying," Lillian added the grounded bouncing bulb into the mixture, it had to be stirred anti-clockwise until it turned red before slicing the foxglove and adding it too,
"You need to find better alternatives to let out your adrenaline rush, Neon," Cadence advised watching Snape terrorise poor Neville, he heard Atlas squeal in delight when Lillian stirred the mixture clockwise until it turned orange,
"Done, Professor!" Atlas called loudly, Snape appeared and stared menacingly at the cauldron, a nervous Lillian awaiting his criticism, "It's completed, isn't it?" He asked with starry eyes,
Snape poured the mixture into a vial and eyed it, "It will be once you put it to test," he held out the vial to Atlas, "Mr Robinson?" The evil smile in Snape's eyes was evident, Atlas scowled before gulping the potion, his head turned into a pumpkin, Lillian gasped in horror, "Well then, ten points to Slytherin for brewing a potion perfectly, and ten points from Hufflepuff for rudeness," Snape added waltzing away,
Zacharias Smith stared at Snape with his mouth hung open, Harry shook his head used to the partiality, and Lillian apologised repeatedly to Atlas who assured her it wasn't her fault for brewing a potion perfectly, once the bell rang the students hurriedly left the dark classroom, Lillian swung Cadence's bag over her shoulder as Atlas crouched on the floor, Cadence furrowed his eyebrows confused with his friend's behaviour,
"Get on Puff, you are weak, let me carry you around school," Atlas offered, patting his shoulders,
Cadence sidestepped and moved out of the way, "I can walk on my own," he said with a frown,
Atlas shrugged his shoulders and stood up, "Just trying to look out for you, Puff," Atlas admitted wrapping his arm over the thin boy's shoulder whose weight was imbalanced with Atlas's heavy arm on his shoulder, "Look at this Angel, he could hold up both of our weights earlier, he's all skin and bones now," Atlas added squeezing Cadence's biceps, the shorter boy promptly smacked Atlas's hand in response,
"True," Lillian's orbs lingered over Cadence's thin body, "You ought to eat well Cadence, you look worse than Harr-"
"Watch it!" Draco Malfoy snapped, Lillian bumped into him dropping her books, Draco's grey eyes glared at her as she picked up her books and apologised, narrowing his eyes at the red ribbon tied to her head Draco scowled, he had seen that somewhere,
