Unlocking the front door of his house, Adam walked into the living room, music playing in the background with the sweet scent of chocolate and bread wafting in the air, hooking his coat over the coat rack, he smiled. "Hello, Munchkin."

Lillian placed the cupcakes on the cloth before turning around. "Welcome back Papa! I baked some cupcakes, I'll brew some tea for you." Lillian greeted pouring water into the electric kettle.

"Alright Munchkin," Adam left to take a bath and change his greasy clothes, sipping the chamomile tea Adam took a deep relaxing breath, Lillian pushed the plate of biscuits and cream to him, Adam noticed Lillian kept glancing at the clock,
"What's up Muchkin?"

"Papa," Lillian sounded like she would ask a question, "Yesterday night, I overheard Mama and you arguing; she left this morning with a note by the refrigerator saying she's going over to her best friend's house. Are you two still angry with each other?"

Adam leaned back in the wooden chair, slowly spreading whipped cream over the cake and took a bite. "Munchkin, your mother wants to bring Harry here."

"Isn't that nice Papa? Harry can live here, we can empty the storeroom." Lillian pointed out happily; picking the teacup, she took a sip of the tea.

"Yes, but Petunia, things aren't good with her," Adam sighed, unable to explain it to Lillian. "Harry needs to stay with her; a while ago, I got an owl from Dumbledore; as if he read your mother's thoughts, he strictly forbade me to bring Harry here."

"Why Papa? Aunt Petunia doesn't want Harry after his wizard thing." Lillian made a circle with her fingers trying to summarise the whole Hagrid showing up incident.

"True, but Dumbledore says Harry is safe there," Adam answered uncertainly, dark circles rimmed his eyes.

"Papa, Mama loves Harry too." Lillian reminded gently.

"She does, Munchkin, but Petunia is more emotionally connected to Lily than Violet; Violet was away for the majority of her childhood. Dumbledore has firmly told me not to bring Harry here, and your mother wants to do exactly that; she brought this up in April and yesterday we fought again." Adam explained patiently.

Lillian was quite analysing the information.
"Is that all Papa? Why did Mama scream at you? Why did she say you were mental?" She asked, staring at Adam, who averted his gaze. "You are doing something she doesn't approve of. Is something wrong, Papa? You can tell us." Lillian reached her hand out and held her father's hand.

Adam smiled forcibly. "Munchkin, you are on your break; it's only been two weeks since you returned; why don't you enjoy your break, huh?"

"Don't change the topic, Papa. Police are patrolling day and night; no one dares to step out of their house, and Mama left, yet you are here," Lillian said shaking her head.

"Munchkin, I told your Mama to leave for today; I have someone coming over; she won't like it." Adam notified and stood up,
"I am tired, Munchkin, prepare dinner early today and don't step out of your room, alright?" Adam added shutting the bedroom door behind him.

Lillian was filled with concern; whenever her parents fought, she would always call Aunt Petunia, and she'd talk to Violet about it. Lillian had no one to ask for help, her summer break didn't feel relaxing at all, her mother was already home when Lillian returned home, everything was fine like usual, lovely food, laughter until yesterday when her parents fought in a long time.

Lillian stirred in her sleep, the Mickey Mouse clock pointed at half past one.
"Check this room." Lillian opened her eyes hazily and sat up.

"It's locked."
