━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Stoick looked up at the ship, staring at the flag. They were in the middle of the ocean, with dark clouds and fog surrounding them every way they looked. The flag was red, with a design of a dragon with two swords cutting through it making an X.
He shook his head with a small grunt, turning to face the Captain. "I can almost smell them. They're close. Steady."
Magnus wore a hard expression as he walked up and down the ship, his hands resting on his belt. He eyed his fellow Vikings, some of them giving him a small greeting.
He turned to Stoick, silently asking if it was time. When the Chief gave him a short nod, he yelled, "Take us in."
"Hard to port!" Magnus heard someone shout from somewhere on the ship.
The Captain made his way towards Stoick at the bow, watching the man stare out at the water. He seemed to be deep in thought, but everyone was at a time like this. It was a dangerous thought just for them to be out there, but they were Vikings...it's an occupational hazard.
"...For Helheim's gate," Stoick muttered.
The ship was turned and soon disappeared behind a wall of dense fog. The other two ships slowly followed behind.
The waters were quiet, for just a moment, before a low rumbling sounded off in the distance. There was a flash of light-fire, perhaps-revealing a large silhouette of a dragon.

In the arena, dragon training was at its peak. There was a huge maze set up with a Deadly Nadder running around playing hide and seek with the recruits.
Hiccup ran after the other teens, skidding to a stop in front of Gobber. Drifa collided with his back, shaking her head and trying to get rid of the stars.
"You know, I just happened to notice the book had nothing on Night Furies," he called up to Gobber.
Drifa blinked, looking up at the man for an answer. "Is there another book?"
"Or a sequel?" Hiccup asked.
"Maybe a little Night Fury pamphlet?"
A Nadder fired at the two, making them raise their shields and dive to the ground.
"Focus, you two! You're not even trying!" Gobber yelled, slamming his hands on the railing. Drifa picked herself up, grabbing Hiccup's arm and leading them to a safer spot. "Today is all about ATTACK! Nadders are quick and light on their feet! Your job is to be quicker and lighter!"
Fishlegs yelped as he came face to face with a Deadly Nadder. It started eying him up and down, sizing him up. Then, its tail shot up, revealing spikes that were quickly shot at him.
He screamed, throwing his shield up and running through the maze. "I'm really beginning to question your teaching methods!"
Gobber ignored him, looking at the others. "Look for its blind spot. Every dragon has one," he said plainly, picking something out of his teeth. "Find it, hide in it, and strike!"
The Twins rounded a corner and halted, the Nadder right in front of them. Tuffnut was in front, and he pushed his body against his sisters, moving left and right to keep the dragon from spotting them.
Ruffnut groaned, plugging her nose as she caught a whiff of her brother's scent. "Ugh! Do you ever bathe?" she asked, still moving in sync with him to not be noticed.
