Chapter Fifteen+Sorry

Writers note: Sorry for the late upload, though uploads will hopefully become more frequent now. A bloody Rose is a new vampire novel I've been working on. Which is going to have a lot of romance in it, so if wish go for it and read the first chapter!. Also from now on Chains will have more romantic scenes in it. Ashley's eyes fluttered as she fell asleep,her body still shivered. I gripped the frost in my hand for it only to melt between my fingers, i once again had brought someone else into my mess. The snow no longer fell and the moon gleaned onto my body. It reminded me of when I was brought, when drake picked me. The sadness that filled his eyes, i no longer saw that pain. "Lucy, you should rest",Drake had that worried face on again. His eyes were slightly closed as he yawned. I giggled which made him blush. He was no longer that boy who had a deadly look, it was like he was human. Drake a human, i wonder if I would of loved him if he was human. If there was no vampires, or if we were all equal. Could I love him then?.I was lost in thought, until drake come up to my face, he gently kissed my lips leaving tingle throughout my body.His eyes still glued to mine as he pulled away."What's the matter?".We starred at each other until a twig broke in the background, even I could hear this.Meaning its close.Drake put his finger on is lips, and signaled me to be quiet.

He paced in the direction of the train tracks."Shit", I tip-toed over and peeked over his shoulder. There were lights in the distance, The only give away. I ran over to ashley still sound asleep, i gently shook her. "Wha.."I pressed my hand over her mouth."Shhh".We both crawled to the now crouching drake.Husky voices filled the background covering the sound of my deep breath.My head began to drift, as if I was dreaming.My nostrils burnt at the smell of gas, as I looked around everything slowly bent.Ashley fell to my lap lifeless, Drakes eyes became heavy.Sweat dripped downed his head as he wildly roared,it rang with fury.Like ashley he fell to the ground with a bounce. Though the nausea and clouds in my eyes, i saw a large figure.Like a figure I had seen before, one of a werewolves.The blood ran from my body, my consciousness went with it. As i slipped into a dream, growls of a hunter filled the air and the last thing I remember was a voice."Take the intruders", with that I slipped into a black pool of nothingness.

I awoke to a dim light, which burnt my eyes.I tried to cover my face,but my hands stayed firmly in position. I was in a unfamiliar white room, there were no windows just a door.I lay on a bed in the middle of the room.Something was taped across my face, i went to rip it off again I was unsuccessful. I looked down,my arms and legs were twisted up with white chains. A sudden beeping sound disturbed my thinking as I looked over towards the door it was now open. I adjusted my eyes to the sudden light bursting though. My body shook uncontrollably, this was something I had not anticipated. There he stood, crossed arms and his smile sinister, the werewolf from that night, the werewolf drake beat almost to death. A bandage still wrapped around his wrist, this time instead of menacing eyes he wore a more curious look. He slammed the door shut, then just stood there watching my chest as it raised up and down. He took a step towards me, he now stood inches away. Then took a lock of my hair and smelt it before letting it fall.A wave of nausea hit me as his voice spoke,"I didn't even introduce myself, before...the little fight we had".He rubbed my cheek gently with his thumb causing me to shriek."I would. Like you to call me Hunter, No need to be formal,The effects of the gas should of worn off now.".I just lay there, not wishing to respond. He pressed his thumb harder into my cheek."Where are my friends.....Hunter".He Let go of his grasp, then walked back and forward across the room. His pace slowed then he looked me up and down."You know what vampires eat right?, there monsters".

I reacted so quickly it shocked him "There not the ones who have me strapped to a bed". A wave of emotions past his face at first he let out a low growl which turned into a laugh."Humans, so predictable. I bet you hated him at first?, but then he played the nice card.Your master that is".I closed my eyes and pretend I wasn't there, I thought of my home,my sister.I thought of drake.I was pulled out of the fantasy and into reality when a body crashed to mine.

Hunter's hands were around my neck, he put no pressure. He just watched me panic as i struggled to get out of his grip. He pushed my legs down with his legs pinning me harder to the bed."Don't zone out, your with me now, in werewolf territory, not only that but you and your master...Drake is it?. Had stolen goods on you"I didn't understand what he said until...Ashley, they made her seem like an object."Lucky for your master he is a pure blood, if we killed him we would have a war on are hands.But your just a human.I could kill you at any point, don't worry though. I've taken an interest in you"His lips crashed to mine, I shut my mouth.He pressed my chin making my mouth open.This wasn't like drakes kisses, this wasn't a kiss from love.It was the kiss of lust. He lifted his head letting me breath, he watched with pleasure as I tried to catch my breath. His body moved off mine finally letting me move an inch more in these chains."If your a good girl, you will be aloud to sleep in a proper bed.In my bedroom of course" I turned towards the wall not wanting to see him anymore.I heard him open the door but before he walked out he said"Oh and don't bother believing Drake is going to save you, He will be on the train home as soon as the paperwork has been signed. Then you'll be alone, your just a human after all, your replaceable".With that he shut the door, and the tears fell.I tried not to cry, if I cried I wouldn't be able to wipe my face.But the tears continued to run as the feelings of abandonment spiked me. I wanted to believe Hunter lied but I'm just a human after all, Drake could easily replace me.
