I glided my hand through my hair pulling it into a tight bun. The rain drizzled down from the sky and bounced off are rain coats. Trees surrounded us leading us further into the darkness. Mud covered are feet pulling us down with every step we took. I looked towards drake, his hair dripping wet. He's face still beautiful. As he opened his lips my eyes watched them as they spoke " You said my father was trading with those things right?. He's company uses trains to move goods around, if there's any way for us to get in unnoticed it would be to sneak onto a carriage. Then we will continue are plan" I swallowed a lump in my throat, i didn't have a good feeling about this. "Won't your father find out when he notices your gone?" I noticed a light in the distance, as we came closer I heard the sound of tracks changing and screeching of wheels. " My sister is covering for us, what we need to worry about is them" He pointed his finger at the brushes which slightly showed bright lights. I squinted my eyes and depicted figures. As we moved closer we ducked down and hid behind a bush.

A old train breathed out black smoke as people stood near by. In thin air Large crates floated, men gathered round them using an invisible force to carry them into backs of carriages. My eyes fluttered in amazement. "What are they? " Drake looked at me seriously, then pulled his hood covering his golden hair." Wizard, Warlock , Enchanter whatever you wish to call it. They use physics to their advantage. There corrupted humans who have chosen darkness". I locked my eyes onto them, each wore black cloaks and wore no shoes. "The relationship question lucy, is what is in these crates".The crates were nearly as big as the carriages them selfs, each buckled with many different locks. "Lucy, listen to me. We're going to hide behind that crate after the loaded it. When I count to get three run for it ". Before i could protest he had already started , The wizards weren't moving. We were running into there eye view. " One,two, Three" I ran as fast as my legs could move, the wizards flashed from my eyes as blazes filled the background.

I crawled into the small gap. Drake followed behind me. I whispered into his ear"What did you do?" I heard or saw no attempt to stop us as we crawled behind the crate. " I used my...power as a distraction. I've bet they've never seen a man made from fire before" He giggled behind his hand, I just fell onto his shoulder. My body felt sore, my legs cooped up to my chest. Drake patted my head then kissed my check."Your not aloud to go there drake, what if you get hurt" He breathed down my ear causing hairs to stand up on the back of my neck"I'm not weak". His voice filled with confidence making me feel like we could do anything.

I heard the door close and the train began to bump, causing my back to bang off the wall multiple times. It wasn't first class, but it was better then walking there. I fell in and out of sleep unable to get comfortable, the only heat radiating off his chest.I whimper came from the crate causing us both to jump. Are eyes came together the looked back to the crate. "Hello?"Drakes voice was stronger then mine ,more sure then me. Nothing responded just another high pitched cry, like a girls. I leaned in closer and peeked through a crack. The light lightly shunned through only showing a body. A female body with a robe wrapped around it. Her toes curved into the wood as her body shook. "What's your name?"She still didn't respond, i turned to drake he shrugged his shoulders. I pressed my hand on the crate and hummed.

"Sweet little child play me a lullaby,

Sleep under the stars, Pray I never say goodbye.

As the sun sets stars light the sky,

Sleep under the stars, Pray I never say goodbye."

It was silent, no cries filled the air. "My names Ashley" I could see her face now, her hair black was cut to her shoulders. Her eyes a glistening blue, they stood out from her petite figure. Her face worn, as if she hadn't slept a full night in days." Your singing reminded me of my mother", I smiled then heard her weeps again. " Ashley, my names lucy. Why are you here?". She tried to speak numerous times but she couldn't catch her breath. Drake intersected the conversation, his voice stern. He made it so her eyes couldn't leave his, like the first time I met him. I felt a little jealous towards her, he hadn't been able to look me in the eye since that night with the werewolf." Be calm". She took in a deep breath. " I turned 16 a couple months ago, they gave me an injection then took me to this white room. I got fed well and a few people came to see me, I was never chosen. Until I was given a injection a couple days ago then ended up here" Her voice began to crack at the end.

"Drake what does that mean?" He looked down, I shook him. He pushed my hand away from him."Lucy, my father said he was trading with the werewolves. Werewolves have....helpers too". Werewolves have helpers, meaning they use humans. That werewolf before treated me like vermin, they must treat humans worst then the vampires do. Now that I think about it drake has never treated me as bad as I thought I would be treated. We all sat silent, i finally was aware of how much humans were worth. They were nothing .
