3rd person POV

Footsteps were heard running down the sidewalk, a shadow of a guy passing by the houses as he made his way towards Canterlot High.

Other guys, and a girl, were walking towards the entrance of Canterlot High, wondering why they were called there.

The guy that was running neared the group, looking very worried. "I got your text, Rainbow Blitz. Did something come through the portal? Is Equestrian magic on the loose? Did Dusk come back with a problem that only we can solve?" Sunset asked rapidly, soon jumping in surprise when Bubble Berry came near him.

"Has a giant cake monster covered all the cakes in the world in cake?" Bubble Berry asked with a grin, stuffing the two cupcakes he had in his hands in his mouth.

Y/n couldn't help but smile at his thinking. "Um, not exactly." Rainbow Blitz answered, getting up from the ground and smiling at them sheepishly.

"Uh, I don't understand." Sunset said, shaking his head in confusion.

"You'll see." Y/n sighed, still keeping a smile on her face.

"Well, Sunset, I was just telling Rainbow Blitz here that a broken guitar string doesn't really qualify as an emergency." Applejack explained, moving towards his friend and grabbing the broken string with a raised brow.

"It totally does!" Blitz defended himself, snatching the guitar away from the farm boy.

"I'm sorry, Blitz, but it doesn't." Y/n smiled at him apologetically, making him slump in sadness.

"Really, Rainbow Blitz? I was in the middle of sewing a very complex appliqué on my latest frock." Elusive huffed in frustration, crossing his arms to show how annoyed he was.

Y/n couldn't help but blush when she saw him wearing a pair of glasses, the measuring tape hanging loosely on his neck.

"And y/n and I were just about to tuck everyone in for the night at the shelter. Now we'll have to start the stories all over again." Butterscotch sighed, hugging Angel closely to him while y/n nodded in agreement.

"Why would you send all of us an emergency text for a guitar string?" Sunset asked Blitz with a raised brow.

"Well I was going to pony up and show our fans some awesome guitar licks." Blitz explained with a smirk, gesturing towards the three girls that were behind him.

Those girls being, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. They waved at the group with a smile, making y/n wave back.

"But I kinda need all six strings to do it. Got any extra?" Blitz asked us with a nervous smile.

Everyone groaned at him, Sunset taking off his backpack and rummaging through it. He grabbed a guitar string and handed it to Blitz.

"Here, but everyone finished practicing for the day, I'm pretty sure all the music rooms are locked." Sunset informed his friend, y/n nodding in agreement.

"No problem, the acoustics in the hallway are perfect for power chords." Blitz smirked, playing his guitar once he fixed the string. "Come on, let's go!" He smiled, gesturing everyone over.

Everyone started to walk inside, everyone except for Sunset and y/n. Applejack noticed this and turned around to look at them.

"You coming, y/n, Sunset?" He asked them, but they just smiled at him.

"We'll catch up in a bit." Y/n informed the farm boy, making him nod and walk inside.

Sunset looked at the girl and grabbed her hand, directing her towards the stairs so they could sit.
