"Okay, so how was it??" Olivia asked eagerly.
"Yeah, tell us EVERYTHING. I'm dying to know," Kendall added, practically bouncing in her seat.
"Okay, okay," Lacy began, trying to downplay the day's events, sipping the coffee she had just made. "Well, we had a debriefing first, then I hung out with Madeline and Madison for a little bit, and that was about it."
"Girl, no, something else must've happened," Olivia insisted, leaning closer.
"Yeah, what about Drew? Tell us about him. He looks so dreamy. Is he just as dreamy in real life?" Kendall asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.
"Pfft, he's far from dreamy," Lacy said, rolling her eyes. "He's got the looks, but he has the personality of a cardboard."
"Ooo, somebody doesn't like him," Kendall teased, rolling her eyes playfully.
"See, it's not that I like him or anything. It's just that he's so mean for no reason. He doesn't even know me, but he's still so rude," Lacy explained, feeling a bit exasperated.
"Don't you guys play love interests in the show?" Olivia asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, fun, right?" Lacy replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Kendall giggled. "Well, that should be interesting. Maybe you'll end up liking him after all."
Lacy shook her head. "Not likely. Today he cut in line while I was getting ice cream and acted all innocent about it. So, I might've accidentally-on-purpose spilled ice cream on him."
"No way!" Olivia exclaimed, laughing. "What did he do?"
"He just stood there, looking shocked. It was kind of satisfying," Lacy admitted, a small smile creeping onto her face.
"Sounds like a drama-filled summer already," Kendall said, still giggling.
"Yeah, it's going to be interesting, that's for sure," Lacy replied, feeling a mix of anticipation and dread about what the next few months would bring.
"Y'all need to hang out more to make sure there's chemistry," Olivia suggested.
"Yeah, there's no way I'm willingly going to hang out with him after everything that happened today," Lacy said, shaking her head. "And as for the chemistry, we'll work out something else."
"Okay, dude, you do you," Kendall said, shrugging.
After a few seconds of silence, Lacy blurted out, "But not gonna lie, he's hot," which sent all the girls into fits of laughter.
"I knew it!" Olivia said between giggles. "You can't deny he's got those looks."
"Seriously, though, how are you going to survive playing love interests with him?" Kendall asked, still laughing.
