"Alright, Drew, your turn," Madison said, a playful smirk on her lips. "Your options are Madeline, Madison, and Lacy. Who would you kill, who would you marry, and who would you kiss?"
Drew pretended to ponder for a moment, his gaze flicking over to Lacy with a hint of amusement. "Well, let's see... I'd kill Madison, obviously," he said with a wink, earning a mock gasp and a playful swat from Madison.
"Ouch, right in the heart!" Madison exclaimed, feigning offense.
Drew chuckled before continuing. "As for marrying... hmm, tough choice, but I think I'd have to go with Madeline. She seems like she'd keep life interesting."
Madeline grinned, shooting Drew a playful wink. "I accept your proposal, Mr. Starkey."
The group erupted into laughter before all eyes turned to Lacy, anticipation hanging in the air.
"And last but not least, who would you kiss, Starkey?" Lacy asked, her tone light but with a hint of curiosity.
Drew's gaze met hers, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. "Well, that's an easy one," he said, his voice low and teasing. "I'd definitely kiss Lacy."
Lacy felt her cheeks flush as she tried to suppress the flutter of butterflies in her stomach. She shot Drew a playful glare, her heart racing at his unexpected choice.
"Smooth, Starkey," she replied, a teasing smile tugging at her lips. "But don't get any ideas."
Madison leaned in, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Looks like someone's got a crush," she teased, earning a laugh from the others.
Lacy rolled her eyes, her cheeks still flushed. "Please, as if," she retorted, but the playful smile on her lips betrayed her true feelings.
As the game continued, the banter between Drew and Lacy only grew adding to the undeniable tension between them. And though they tried to play it off as nothing more than friendly rivalry, deep down, both knew that there was something more brewing beneath the surface.
Later that day, Lacy and Drew found themselves rehearsing a pivotal scene that required them to share a passionate kiss. As they stood facing each other, scripts in hand, a palpable tension hung in the air.
The director called for quiet on set as the crew prepared for the rehearsal. Lacy could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she glanced at Drew, his expression unreadable.
"Alright, everyone, let's take it from the top," the director called out.
LACY'S POV:
I looked at him, hands weaving around the back of his neck. The air was too hot, too thick, like it made my eyelids drag closed.
His lips curled into a cocky smirk, tongue snaking out to slowly drag across them. I willed myself to blink back at him, a portrayal of calm flirtation.
He murmured to me with reverence, "You're so beautiful", curling a finger to my cheeks.
I felt my eyes widen, while knowing it was just a line. A blush ignited my face, and I could feel the heat creeping up to my ears.
Roaming around his face, I noted every freckle across the bridge of his nose, how a strand of hair fell across his forehead as he leaned down towards me.
I let my mouth slightly part. Let him see how much I wanted this. Wanted him. Our lips were a fraction of an inch apart, any movement would cause collision.
He took advantage of my unfiltered expression, letting his mouth cover mine, eyes fluttering shut. I gripped his hair, his neck, not daring to let myself imagine this was real.
It was hard though, considering how passionate we both had become in a matter of seconds. The kiss had turned to clash of teeth and tongue, fingers running wildly across each other's faces.
Behind us, a director was saying something, but I couldn't make it out from the buzzing in my ears. It was louder now, practically a screech that made me push him off, "I said CUT!"
The blush managed ton work its way back to my face, with the realization we had gone on kissing for much too long. Standing up, I saw him observing me out of the corner of my eye. It was humiliating, knowing that this was just a scene, and yet I felt as though I had given a bit of my soul.
But then, his deep voice, heavy with restrain, rumbled to my ear, "Anytime you want to do that again, acting or not, call me."
