NOT YET HYBRID
They started with little things
Forest wood, mountain stone, bacteria from the stream...
with a roof over the head,
with walls to protect,
with drugs to delay death,
there was no need to dream
of the source and life force and wonders of eternity.
Then came technology!
The mental sages!
The iron cages!
The glittering gadgets of carefully guarded secrets:
minerals, resources, engineered into curses,
into weapons of destruction...
into sights, sounds, games of addiction.
They spewed their falsehoods,
in massive communications;
media at home,
education at school,
social networks on the web
social networks on the streets.
Lies, deceit, monopoly, conformity-
a new world orientation for the sheep!
Because when they did it to the plants we were fast asleep,
when they did it to the animals, we were too busy,
too busy trying to read the manuals,
trying to understand the language,
trying to catch up to alien intelligence,
too trusting in our government,
too ignorant of the government governing the government!
The faceless They
So enamoured; with our DNA
They said space is the last frontier.
Another lie!
What else is left to change, tinker with, modify?
What else is there to corrupt, concoct, control, weaponize, mechanize?
Mankind.
Mankind is the last barrier, the last blockade, the last stand, the last frontier.
Don't you know? It's been six days.
We are at war.
Open your eyes,
while you can still do as you were born to do,
with your free will-

Because mankind is the last frontier!
They are they,
they are not the source.
Open your eyes.
