He is hopelessly
in love with her.
Going back without her is unthinkable.
Returning
to live a life
she isn't a major
fundamental part of

In despair the evens have left his future bare, vacating his brain box completely.
Even if he lost his place amongst his race,
even if he let it all go,
a lifetime of glory,
a status so high,
a fortune so vast,
there is only
one number for love,
and oceans can't
divide it to make
separate and whole,
only incomplete halves.
When a man
meets with destiny,
all the evens are evened out.
No more evens.
He simply can't.
