Ever since Mira has retired at her second job, she has been having a whole lot of free time. Not to add the fact that Lia has been giving her early outs and more vacation days since they had the bond saying that it was only her duty as her covenmate to protect her. Mira was bored to say the least. Not that she didn't appreciate the actions.

So, Hyunjin did the most reasonable thing which is to bring Mira at their manor to formally introduce herself to his other covenmates. She was about to meet Stray Kids and she was nearly trembling in excitement.

Hyunjin's other hand was on the steering wheel while the other rest on top of Mira's thighs. The action alone gave butterflied in Mira's stomach. "Who else is mated in your coven?" She decided to ask.

Mira thought she would have an advantage of knowing the flow of the story seeing as she wrote it but it seems as if the story was creating its own plot and storyline. She was just as clueless as the others about the future. It also seems as if other major details have also changed. Now, she was no longer that different than the people who really came from this world from the beginning.

Hyunjin's personality, Itzy becoming a new coven, BTS being included. There was too much. She decided to ask for safety measures and so that she wouldn't seem stupid for saying the wrong words later on.

"Minho hyung is mated. Chan and Changbin hyung as well. The three youngest are the only ones that are still unmated. They are still pretty young anyways when it comes to vampire age." Hyunjin explained.

"Who are their mates?" She asked.

"I forgot their covens but Chan's mate is Yoora noona and Changbin's is Eunjae noona. Minho hyung's mate came from the Lumina coven. Her name is Nari."

Mira nodded. More characters she never wrote about but magically became part of the story.

'Who even is writing this story now?'

Soon, they arrived at a gigantic place. Now that Mira was no longer feeling like she was about to die or as if she drank an entire case of soju, she realized just how big and majestic the place is.

"Woah, who designed this place?"

"Me."

Mira looked at him surprised.

"I studied and became an interior designer back in the 19th centuries." He explained.

"Just how many jobs have you had."

Hyunjin thought about it. "My jobs were mostly about art. I used to be a royal painter then I stopped because the court became too messy. I became a doctor with Chan hyung before though."

"Why?"

Hyunjin shrugged. "The maknaes weren't a part of the coven back then. There were only four of us. Minho hyung already had his mate as well as Changbin hyung. Chan hyung and I decided to study medicine and became a surgeon for a while."

Mira smiled weakly. "So you're saying you decided to become a doctor to entertain yourself because you were bored?"

"Kind of." Hyunjin answered.

He left the car and went to the passenger side, opening the door for her. "Master, the others are waiting at the living room at the left wing." A maid informed him.

Hyunjin interlocked his fingers with hers and gently guided her inside the manor. "Shall we?" He asked.

Mira nodded and she soon found herself inside the majestic manor. Everything looked so elegant. Well, that was her first impression. The place had wonderful pillars as well as tiles that looked like it came straight from the books.

Well, technically it did come from a book.

Before Mira can further analyze the place, she was surprised to hear a voice screaming so loudly.

"Kim Seungmin I will bench press you." Changbin's loud voice rung all over the room. It did not take a genius to recognize his voice. Mira sometimes wondered whose voice is louder. Dokyeom or Changbin.

"Hello." Bangchan greeted as soon as the two arrived at the living room.

As soon as they finished their greetings, Hyunjin took her up to his room. "Hey, you're hungry, aren't you?"

"Mira..."

"Come on." She encouraged the hesitating vampire.

"I don't want you to think I'm merely using you."

"I'll gladly let you use me."

Hyunjin bit his cheek to stop himself. He held the back of her neck, gently caressing the part near her pulse. "Don't say things you don't mean, petal."

Mira turned towards him, blinking her eyes innocently. "What makes you think I'm lying-"

She paused, biting her lip as the vampire left feather kisses from her lips, down to her jawline, towards her neck. "I'll bite now."

"Mhm."

The feeling as his fangs penetrated her skin was painful at first before it turned to a burst of pleasure inside her. Her hands reached towards the sleeve of his shirt, clenching her fist against it.

Her other hand reached towards his hair, clenching it softly in an attempt to ground herself. She felt as if she was floating the more the blonde drinks more of her blood.

His eyes were shut close, his throat gulping down big amounts.

A few moments later, his fangs left her skin and only light kisses were being left at the sensitive spot making Mira tremble lightly. As soon as Hyunjin pulled back, Mira smiled at him lovingly as she wiped some of the blood that smeared on his lips.

His eyes were still red. "You're a bit dizzy, aren't you?"

Mira nodded, eyes blinking tiredly. "Go take a rest, petal. I'll be here when you wake up. I'll never leave your side."

"Cuddle?"

"Whatever you want."

When the other boys visited Hyunjin's room that day, they were greeted by a wonderful sight. Hyunjin, the man who has been the most eager to meet his mate, has finally found his.

"Hyung finally found his missing piece." The maknae spoke his thoughts.

Minho hugged Jeongin and Felix lightly, providing some sort of comfort.

"He's painting our canvas ever since we became a coven, it's time for him to paint his own after waiting for so long."
