"You're in a new coven, aren't you?" Bangchan asked in which Mira nodded at. "Congratulations. Can you tell me more about your coven?"

"We are a coven made of six people. Three humans and three vampires. We named it Itzy coven." She replied.

Bangchan nodded at that. "So do you plan to present at the BTS ball this month?"

Mira nodded. "Yeji is our clan leader. A bit weird considering she's human but that is what we agreed on. And they also said that coven members are the one who gets to decide on that."

"True. Don't let others decide for your own coven. Stick to your principles and decide for your own." Changbin suddenly arrived.

It took everything in Mira not to laugh out loud because of what Changbin said. It seems that no matter what or where they are, the man will always stick to his principles no matter what. The viral meme replayed on Mira's mind as the vampire said those words. Holding back her laugh, she tried her best to keep a neutral expression.

"Nari told me you formed a coven with Lia?" Minho closely followed, carrying a cat. Mira nodded at the question. It was no doubt that Minho and his mate have been with each other for so long. 

"Why are you guys bothering her?" Hyunjin arrived, grabbing her bag to carry it himself. "Let's go."

Mira was confused. "Where are we going?" Despite being confused, she followed Hyunjin without a doubt.

Hyunjin took her inside the car and they had a short silent ride. Soon, Mira realized that Hyunjin took her at a mall. "I'm spoiling my petal."

Naturally, Mira wanted to refuse. She was so used to working hard to get things for herself and not receiving gifts aside from the gifts her members and fans gave. "Hyunjin-"

"I have more than enough money to raise our family for the next ten generation. I was jealous to see Minho hyung do this to Nari noona. Let me do it to you, please? Besides, we can be matching at the ball."

Mira only sighed and nodded. "You have a way with your words, Hwang."

"Only for you, petal." He winked at her, pulling her close by the waist and holding her close. "Also, being alive when some of the best writers were still alive helped me improve my vocabulary and enhance my flattery skills."

"You really need to stop doing these things before I melt." Mira shamelessly said. She was pretty sure her cheeks have gone red already and she might be looking like a potato with how the vampire kept on flirting with her and pampering her.

Hyunjin chuckled and just led the way.

Mira knew that from the moment she allowed Hyunjin to bit her, she was willing to sacrifice everything for the man. Her life. Everything she had.

In this world, nobody truly knew her. She constantly wasn't getting followed by fans. The media wasn't constantly following her every move. She was able to do whatever she liked and express it with freedom. Something she never took for granted.

At this moment, while their hands were interlocked and the sweet cold ice scream cooling her down, Mira thought she no longer cared. She threw away the thoughts that have been bothering her. Thoughts of how will she able to go home. Thoughts of missing her family. Thoughts of wanting to go back.

"A penny for your thoughts?" Hyunjin asked.

Mira shook her head and smiled. "I'm just so happy." She admitted.

"Really? Then that's good enough for me."

By the time they were finished shopping for everything, Mira had at least five bags dedicated to her belongings only. Not including the stuff Hyunjin bought for himself.

Hyunjin took her to one of the restaurants at the mall. Walking inside, still with their fingers interlocked. "Hwang Hyunjin." He informed the staff of the reservation.

The staff nodded and led them to one of the tables. The ambiance and atmosphere of the place reminded Mira of the one song they released that was written by the vampire in front of her.

Without noticing what she was doing, she hummed on a song titled cover me. Soon, she was singing it under her breath.

"That song is beautiful. Who made that? I haven't heard of it."

Mira froze upon hearing his voice, breaking the trance she was in.

'Oh! This wonderful song was actually made by you! But you wouldn't know that seeing as we aren't in my world and I'm the only one experiencing a crisis.'

"I made it up." She lied smoothly. She can't be ruining the universes, more than she already did. The damage will probably affect her world too if she ruins this universe.

"You have a talent for music."

'Thanks. You actually have one too. Did you know that? I became an idol because of you and the way you dance is majestic.'

"Hyunjin?"

"Yes, petal?"

"Why did you run away when you found out I was your mate?"

Hyunjin paused at that. "I have to be honest. When I realized you were human, I was so scared that I will end up killing you."

"My- my uncle used to run this association where they used humans and killed them as if they don't deserve to live. I was so scared. I swore to never become what he is. I used to say that my greatest fear was becoming like him."

"Then you came. I was so scared that my wants would get ahead of me."

Mira nodded; she did not feel any anger. Instead, she felt sympathy. Trauma is something that has different effects on people. Mira knew Hyunjin can never forget the memory as vampires remember everything. "What made you change?"

"You. I realized that despite the fears I have, not having you in my life is greater. You made me face my fears and among the achievements I have acquired in my long life, choosing you was the best."

Tears were pooling inside Mira's eyes. She never experienced being loved like this. Not in any way, shape, or form. However, a part of her feels guilty knowing the lies she has been living in. Hyunjin deserves to know the truth, she just doesn't know when to tell him or how to even tell him.

"Am I that special then?" She tried to tease to stop herself from crying.

"You are, Petal." Hyunjin smiled.

"The most important."
