Prologue
Mira, the youngest member of a girl group under JYP entertainment, is a talented and famous idol. The group's name was Itzy. Their main concept is to show the world their capabilities, loving themselves, and not being afraid of showing what they can do and who they truly are.
She is also the main dancer and the center of the group. Born in 2003, she is one of the youngest idols in the entertainment. However, she is respected for their fame as well as her talents.
Mira used to train under SM before moving to JYP to debut. During her trainee years, she received countless of offers. She has accumulated over fifty business cards from different companies. Whether they may be a big company or a small one. It didn't matter to her.
Her group had five other members whom she adores and holds close to her heart. They have treated each other as family and Mira did not hesitate before choosing to debut as a group and not as a soloist. After debuting, she never regretted that decision, not even once.
Mira's eyes followed as a certain group passed by the artists' lounge where she and her members were currently sitting and enjoying their break.
Stray Kids. The group was the one responsible for making Mira choose JYP amongst all the other companies that she could have chosen.
Watching their survival show, she has always been a huge fan of them. When she debuted under the same company, she was over the moon. Small interactions with them were enough to light up her entire day.
"You better not plot murder on our leader for having a collab with your bias." Lia teased their maknae who was sulking on the side.
Yeji was given a chance to collab with Hyunjin for a performance. Mira was of course, happy for their leader but at the same time sad. She was the main dancer, why wasn't she chosen?
Mira turned her gaze towards them. "Why would I plot murder?" She asked.
"Aren't you jealous?" Ryujin added to the tease. Yuna and Chaeryoung were just smiling as they scrolled through their phones, already used to the banter that was happening. It was a usual Friday night for them.
Mira smugly flipped her hair. "I have the same schedule as him tomorrow. We'll be going as guest judges for a survival show." She smirked.
"Good for you, little one." Yeji praised, patting Mira's head.
Affection was something normal for the group. Sharing the same traumas and experiences surely bonded them closer to each other in a matter of second. It did not take long for them to become actual family and not co-workers.
"Girls, it's time to go home. You ready?" Their manager grabbed their attention.
The girls nodded and began packing up their things and carrying their bags. Turning around the second time, making sure they didn't leave any chargers nor air pods behind. The company was a bit far to go back to if they really end up forgetting something.
On the car ride home, Mira placed her air pod and began playing Stray Kid's newest song which is titled 'lose my breath'. Opening a certain app, she took a deep breath as she thought of a title.
"His muse? It would be too common. I think I already have a book titled that. Well, the titles of my other books are from a song so a song title would be fitting. Bite me? It has the same theme, anyways. I am about to finish the book and yet I still don't have a title." She whispered to herself.
Lia leaned towards her. "What are you doing?"
"Writing lyrics." She lied smoothly.
She did not need her members to know the fact that she has been writing fanfictions since forever. As a fangirl, she even made alternative universes before but decided to stick with fanfictions as they were much, much easier. She found writing fanfictions her escape every time the industry gets too much for her to handle.
Being a talented songwriter has been used to her advantage. Her account has accumulated attention, and she has gathered a fair number of followers. She was pretty proud of her books. She might cringe at some of her old books, but those books just showed her improvements.
Her fingers moved swiftly as words danced around the screen creating a new reality. Her mind was working effortlessly in making a new world and creating plots. By the time she went to sleep, she has already finished the book. Others might find writing as something stressful, but it has an opposite effect on Mira. Writing helps her relieve her stress.
The next day arrived faster than she has anticipated.
"Is this your only schedule for the day?" Yeji asked, giving Mira her breakfast.
The said woman nodded her head and finished her breakfast. It was one of the rare days where the others did not have much to do and could make a home-cooked meal.
Arriving at the set, she was nervous. Being an idol was one thing. Being a judge was also one thing. Being both is a completely separate thing.
She sat next to Hyunjin, ignoring the way her heart kept beating faster every single time he initiates a conversation with her.
"Hey, Hyunjin's manager had an emergency and seeing as he's going to our direction too, he'll be riding the same car as yours. Is it fine?" Her manager asked.
Mira nodded. "It is fine. I don't mind." She smiled politely.
'What if I smell disgusting right now.'
Moving to the side to make space for the guest, Mira took a deep breath as the car began to move.
What they didn't expect was a car that seemed out of control, moving quickly towards them. Mira's eyes widened. It was speeding towards them, and it seems as if the driver can't control the speed of the car.
She failed to realize the fact that Hyunjin has scooted closer to her and tried to take most of the impact before they felt themselves tumbling and flipping outside down.
The last thing she felt was his hands trying to reach for her's as her eyes closed.
To her surprise, her eyes opened as quickly as it closed. The only difference was, she was no longer bleeding out nor feeling like she might die because of the pain. Oddly enough, she seemed comfortable and cozy wrapped around a velvet blanket with a pair of soft and silk white pajamas.
As her eyes glanced at the ceiling, she found it odd. "Didn't know modern architecture still did this." She said to herself. It had a combination of gothic and baroque art styles that were seamlessly combined to create the masterpiece.
'The story began with Y/N, waking up in her room. She was greeted by her friend who stayed the night. Her friend is one of her only and closest friends whom the woman adore.'
Mira's eyes widened. For some reasons, she vaguely remembered the first lines of the fanfiction she wrote about Hyunjin. It was a vampire fanfic, and she did it for fun after an exhausting day at work.
"It cannot be." She said again.
However, as she tried to make sense of the situation, she soon realized that it could really be.
Mira stared at the door.
How in the world did she enter the fanfiction she wrote as the main character?
