Preparation

Hyunjin and Mira were hanging out at her and Yeji's apartment alone. The others are currently out doing their adult activities while Mira was using one of the many rest days that Lia has given her. She almost did not want to use those days, but Lia and the others assured her it was more than okay to use them.

"Teach me the etiquettes please. I don't want to embarrass myself at the ball." She whined, clinging at the arms of her mate.

If she purposely squeezed his muscles, that was for her to know and him to find out.

"Trust me, you don't need any of those lessons." Hyunjin assured her, sketching her on a notepad. A few strands of his hair falling on the sides of his face, but it did not bother him.

Oh to be loved by an artist.

"Trust me, I need it. I don't want people going 'oh! Hyunjin's mate is a human. She doesn't even know which spoon to use for the soup. It's fine. I can do this."

Hyunjin chuckled and nodded at the woman, leaving her alone as she searched her book for more tips.

"The dessert spoon should be..."

He turned his attention towards her. He bit his lip to stop himself from laughing as he watches her struggle. The book contains everything there is to learn on how to behave at the formal ball. What utensils to use, how to greet, and how to act. It was basically a manual.

"The left one."

"How do you know this?" Mira let out an exhausted breath.

Hyunjin shrugged. "I grew up in this society. It sort of became a natural thing for me to learn."

Mira rolled her eyes. "Well done mister prince vampire."

Hyunjin laughed at the title she called him. He pecked her forehead and continued sketching.

In Mira's mind, she was already thinking of new concepts for their comeback. If their new songs will compose of love songs, that was for Mira and her team to decide. Mira knew the moment she comes back - if she can come back - their album will be completely different than the ones they were used to doing.

"You ready for tomorrow?"

Mira nodded. "Yeah. Me and the others will pamper ourselves tonight. We'll be staying at Lia unnie's place." She informed her mate.

"Have fun and stay safe. Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything."

The woman chuckled. "The others haven't officially met you; you know? They're slowly thinking you're actually my sugar daddy."

Hyunjin winked at her. "I don't see what's wrong with that."

"Hwang Hyunjin!"

The vampire just laughed and continued sketching. Later that evening, Mira received a call from her coven mates. "I'll drive you there. Come on."

As if on instinct, Mira began singing. "Start the engine and drive again tonight."

Hyunjin turned towards her. "Is that another song you made up? You really have a talent for music."

'Bangchan would seriously sue me for copyright issues at this point.'

"Thank you." Mira ended up saying.

When they arrived, Mira decided to bring her mate with him. "Come on. Let's introduce you to them. I already know your coven mates, yet you don't know mine." She explained.
