"Your mate is pretty, Hwang." Eunjae teased the vampire who didn't even bother to stand up to greet them. He was too busy hugging his mate and complimenting her to be able to do so. Eunjae did not mind at all. In fact, she was happy for the couple.

"I'm right here, you know?" Changbin pouted and opened his arms to greet the woman with a comfortable hug. "I missed you." Changbin's mate was the exact opposite of him. She was the epitome of sunshine and rainbows. 

Eunjae smiled. "Me too. Those stray vampires really take up most of my time." She groaned.

"I think you already know me." Nari chuckled. "Yook Nari. Minho's mate."

Mira thought the two suited each other perfectly. Everyone actually suited each other seeing as they were mates, but Minho and Nari were exerting a different aura.

"I want a mate." Jeongin pouted.

Han's eyes widened. "Not yet. You're still our baby forever."

Felix and Seungmin ignored them and focused on their drinks. The music has already started to play.

Upon seeing the crowd and hearing the music, Mira realized how much she misses performing. How she misses singing and being an idol. How much she practices and spends time in their practice room. She hates herself for still thinking about her world but it was inevitable. She knew she was bound to go back one way or the other.

"Hyunjin?"

"Yes, petal?"

They were surprised when they heard a squeal. "Chan! He calls her petal. Omg I want to melt. They look so cute. Babies." Yoora cooed at them.

Bangchan just chuckled and shook his head. "Come on, darling. Don't embarrass them. Shall we dance?"

Mira watched as the mates disappeared one by one. "Go on, hyung. I'll handle them." Seungmin assured Hyunjin who was hesitating to go.

That was when Mira remembered that one Skz code where they filmed a horror episode. When the lights went out, Hyunjin went straight to the maknaes and hugged them. She fell in love even more if that was possible.

She can't remember how many times she replayed that clip.

"Come on, petal. Let's dance." Hyunjin called.

He guided her towards the center of the dancefloor, holding her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Her fingers unconsciously playing with his hair.

"You're a good dancer." Hyunjin smirked.

'Thanks. I trained for over three years to get this good. Only for Minho to pass in two weeks. The man is incredible.'

"How do you dance this well." Mira changed the topic.

Hyunjin avoided her eyes. "I might have danced in a few royal balls."

Mira squinted her eyes. "With whom."

Hyunjin smiled at her. "You look beautiful-"
