"Agar aapse dur hua toh khudse hi juda ho jaunga," he whispered barely audibly, but enough for her to hear.

[If I go away from you, I'll be separated from myself.]

She landed a hit on his chest, exclaiming, "You're all the same!" A tear escaped her eyes as she unleashed her rage, followed by more hits on his chest.

She felt like a storm brewing inside her, making it difficult to express herself. So, she sticked to hitting him, but his lack of reaction only fueled her annoyance.

With a forceful push, she made him step back a few paces.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Oh right, how could you?" she spoke, glaring at him. "Nobody understands me. No one even tries. All I wanted was to feel heard, the least anyone can do. But it seems like everyone hates me. Why?" Her voice softened as she expressed her inner turmoil.

"I stayed silent because I wanted to listen to you, okay? If no one else understands you, then let me be the one who does. I can be honest with you without ever hating you, Rani Sahiba," he spoke with sincerity.

"Rani sahiba.. Rani sahiba.. I'm not any queen, stop mocking me! Everyone looks down on me and you behave as if I own the whole universe," she bitterly chuckled.

"I'm not mocking you; you're not just any queen. To me, it's like you own the entire universe," he replied softly, his words touching her deeply, causing more tears to well up in her eyes.

"You own me. My world. Everything which belongs to me, is yours."

"You make me so confused," she said, her voice trembling. "What do you even want from me? I have nothing to give you, Yuvraj. I lost everything back then, everything. I can't bear to claim you.... and then lose you too."

As she finished speaking, her legs gave way, and she sank to the ground. Her hands clutched her saree, her hair in disarray, tears streaming down her cheeks, reflecting her inner turmoil and pain.

Yuvraj sat in front of her, each tear she shed felt like a piece of his heart being torn away, leaving behind a void.

"I don't want you to fall for something false, Advika ji," he began, gently cupping her cheeks in his hands.

"I want you, just as you are. Instead of painting illusions, here's my truth: I love you. I love to love you, I love the thoughts of you, the idea of you being around me as much."

His confession struck her like a thunderbolt, freezing her in disbelief. Her heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still as she stared at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of shock and fear.

The idea of receiving such a strong reaction terrified her to the core. It wasn't embarrassment she felt, but a deep desire to vanish into thin air, to escape from the overwhelming emotions that crept within her.
