Seth's knee was throbbing in protest as he abandoned his crutches and limped towards Dean's house. He typed in the security code, unlocking the front door, before making his way into Dean's kitchen and towards the drinks fridge. He opened the small freezer draw beneath the main chilled section and picked up a chill box, quickly finding what he was looking for inside. A medium-sized syringe filled with dark green see through liquid. Seth grabbed hold of the syringe and closed the lid, placing the syringe into the pocket of his jacket before leaving.

A notification on Dean's phone alerted him to activity in his house and, as he watched the camera footage, he knew exactly what Seth was planning to do. He should have known that Seth would do something like this after he refused to change him. He needed to find Seth and quick

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Seth's body was on fire and he writhed in pain as Dean's venom flooded his bloodstream. The agony had him quivering as the fire cut through him like a sharp knife, covered in salt. It slowly sliced through his body until he could focus on nothing else but the pain. It eventually exploded behind his eyes and was replaced by bitter cold. Vicious, severe, numbing cold and it hurt just to breathe. His heart rate increased, his pupils dilated, and he trembled as his body went into a Fight-or-Flight response. He couldn't move or speak, and he eventually passed out. When he came around, he could hear banging. He groaned. He was tingling all over his body and he wiggled his fingers and toes until the tingling seized.

More banging.

''Seth, I know you're in there. Open the damn door"

Seth sat up and his body moved so quickly that the movement made his head spin. He eventually stood and staggered towards the door. As soon as he opened it, Dean pushed his way inside and Seth fell onto the floor. The scent of Seth was everywhere as Dean entered the younger man's house, but as Dean took in the sight of him, he noticed none of the same scent was emitting from him. He could hear Seth's heart beating erratically just like his own had just before it stilled. Seth was already in the final stage of his transformation. He was too late.

"Goddamn it Seth. Why?"

Seth was incredibly uncomfortable and aggravated as he replied, "I should have thought that was obvious"

"Don't be smart with me Seth, not after what you've just done" Dean voiced.

"If you had just changed me when I asked you too, I wouldn't have had to take anything!" Seth replied

Dean laughed in amazement. "Are you seriously trying to blame me for this? I trusted you with everything, and this is how you repay me!"

"Isn't that what vampire venom is for?" Seth asked, failing to show even an ounce of remorse for what he had done

"You know damn well that I didn't keep it for that" Dean answered

"Whatever" Seth dismissed as he dragged himself towards the chair. He used all his strength to pull his body up onto it and his head fell against the back of the chair once he was seated "Have you got anything to drink. My throat...it's so dry"

Dean approached him and Seth's unfocused eyes widened as Dean's face moved into his central vision. "Considering what you've done, I should leave you here to suffer"

"Fine" Seth replied defiantly. "Leave. I can always kill someone if I get desperate enough"

Dean knew how Seth was feeling, but at that moment he failed to care. "You've been planning this for a while, haven't you?"

"I won't lie, I was envious of you" Seth admitted, his breaths were laboured with the strain of his transformation "and it frustrated me you were outdoing me inside the ring...but I never planned on becoming a vampire. The thought only crossed my mind...after I found out my leg couldn't be operated on...you refused to help me and it reminded me of the time you...showed me where you kept your venom. I figured if you wouldn't help...me. I'd do it myself"

"I don't believe a word you say" Dean replied. "I should have never trusted you after you screwed me over the first time. The trouble with you, Seth, is that you've never had to think of anyone apart from yourself. You're spoilt, and it shows"

Seth licks his lips and swallows thickly. His throat is burning and all he can think about is soothing the ache "I'm burning Dean..."

Seth had brought this on himself, and he was unsure whether to offer him any help

"I need to drink, Dean. Please-"

"My venom might have changed you, but I don't owe you a damn thing."

Dean was so angry and frustrated and he was already concerned about how Frederick would react to knowing that he told Roman and Seth about him being a vampire. Now Seth had just made the whole situation worse. Dean grabbed his phone from his pocket and scrolled through his contact list until he found he was looking for

"However, unlike you, I'm not a complete asshole"

After a few rings, Frederick's voice answered, 'Dean. Is everything alright. I had a feeling you were in trouble.'

"Frederick. I need your help."
