He finished the race P2. He was actually doing really well. He won a world championship 2 seasons ago mainly because Red Bull got caught out for cheating. He was still with McLaren. He honestly refused to go anywhere else. We looked at other teams when his 2028 contract was up. Our list was definitely brutal to the other teams.

Ferrari - Are you trying to go to therapy after every race weekend?

Red Bull - You'll just end up being like Checo in the 23 season and just get treated like shit. You'll always be under Max.

Mercedes - You trying to be harassed by Toto every weekend??

Alpine - Do we not remember what happened to Oscar?

Racing Bulls - People still fucking call it AlphaTauri & ToroRosso. And also the fact that they're still Red Bull.

Sauber - Fuck no. Everyone is still traumatised there by Valtteri's ass.

Haas - Hasn't been the same since Guenther left.

Aston Martin - Do you really want to be the second driver? You're gonna be dealing with Mr Daddy's Money and do we not remember when you called him a dickhead and a cunt in the same sentence?

Williams - Are you trying to lose every single race?

As I said. It was brutal but true. Only downside with McLaren was dealing with Zak because he's literally the James Corden of F1. You either fucking love him or you fucking hate him. Either way, we still loved McLaren and Lando was very happy to stay there. We were still living in Monaco in our little apartment. It was perfect for us.

Lando came home the next day. He must have quite literally got the first flight home. He wasn't too much into partying anymore even if we were at the race with him. If you asked him he would quite happily say that he would rather go back to the hotel and cuddle up with me, Mirabella & Daxie. Mirabella ran to the door when she heard it unlocking. She absolutely loved her daddy more than anything. She ran to him and he picked her up in his arms.

"Well hello there, Princess. Did you miss your old man?" He said

"I missed you so much, daddy!!!" Mirabella said.

"I missed you too, sweetheart" he said before Mirabella got down and grabbed his hand to drag him to the couch where I still was. He kicked the door closed and cuddled up next to me. "The movie looks great. What are you guys watching?" He said to me.

"I actually don't know. Something on Disney+. I just gave Mira the remote and let her find something" I said before turning to look at him and then I pressed my lips on his. Just a quick kiss. "I missed you..." I said

"I missed you too, baby" he said while pulling me close in his arms

"I hated watching you on the tv. I even tried to fucking kiss the tv thinking it was actually you. Hence the mark on the screen" I said while pointing to the tv. I actually did try to kiss him. In my defence, I was losing the plot.

"Wow, that's... quite an image. I guess that's one way to show your love" he said. We both looked over at Mirabella who was so focused on the tv.

"Did you get her a present then? Or have you not had a chance yet?" I whispered to him

"I did end up getting her a present. I just haven't had a chance to give it to her yet" he whispered back.

"Is it the Nintendo Switch she's been begging for...?"

"Yes, it is. It's in the car, actually. Just waiting for the perfect moment to give it to her"

"I'm sure she'll be asking for it later" I said. I fell asleep in Lando's arms soon after. I woke up at about 7pm to the smell of pizza. Lando must have ordered some while I was asleep.

"Hey, baby, wake up. I got pizza" he said. I started to wake up and there were 3 boxes there. Let's just say we all have our preferences of pizza toppings. None of us were pineapple on pizza type people but we were different. Lando had a chicken pizza which of course he covered with salad cream which is still a fucking crime. I had a pepperoni pizza and Mirabella had a ham pizza. As I said, we had our preferences when it came to pizza toppings.

"I still think salad cream on pizza is criminal" I said.

"I could say the same about you eating any type of fish but here we are. You still married me at the end of the day so you've just gotta deal with my weird habits" he said

"I hate when you're right" I said with a laugh as I ate a slice. Lando definitely wasn't meant to be having that pizza but I don't think he cared that much. He wanted me & Mirabella to have something we both loved for food and he knew he had to especially as he was back from his race. Plus, he had a week to burn off the calories. He learnt a special way how to and he did it all the time. His excuse for eating junk food with us is 'I'm a dad now and if my little girl want McDonald's or KFC or Domino's or Five Guys or whatever then I will get her that and we will have that for food. It makes her happy. He was honest the sweetest dad ever to Mirabella. He was perfect for her. Perfect for me too.
