☆ Thirty-One ☆

About a month passed and it was the day before Mirabella's 5th birthday. It was also the day of my driving test to finally get my licence back. But first I had a little time in the morning to spend with my little family. I had been so busy with the twins that I didn't get to spend a lot of time with Mirabella and neither did Lando but we finally had a chance to have a cuddle with her.

"Do you still love me or do you love them instead...?" Mirabella said. Me and Lando couldn't believe that she asked that. She didn't feel loved?

"Of course we still love you, Mira. It's just that we've got to pay a lot of attention to them because of how small they are. they probably think this world is really scary and we have to be there for them but it doesn't mean we love you any less. You're still our little girl and we still love you more than anything. It's just that we have to share that love with the twins, okay...?" I said while stroking her hair.

"You're such a big girl now, Mira. And we're so proud of you. We'll always make time for you, okay?" Lando said as he was rubbing her back.

"always... you'll always be our little girl though..." I said.

"That's right, little one. You'll always be our baby girl. And we'll always have time for you, no matter what" he said. Lando & Mirabella both fell asleep so I left them to sleep while I went to take my test. I was so scared. I really wanted to be able to drive again.

The test went on for ages but I passed!!! I just had to tell Lando. I went back to our apartment and Mirabella must have been in her room playing with her toys while the twins were sleeping. Lando was on the couch and I cuddled up next to him.

"So... how did it go?" He said

"I passed!!!! I have my licence back!!!!" I said. He immediately wrapped his arms tightly around me and covered my face in kisses

"I knew you could!!! I also got you a little present because I knew how stressed out you were about it" he said. He reached over to a box next to the couch and put it on my lap. I opened it and nearly cried. It was a brand new iPad and Apple Pencil. I had been drawing a lot in my sketchbook as well as painting but I wanted something that was easier for me to take around.

"Lan... you did not" I said

"I did. Now you can do your art whenever you want" he said. I was so thankful for him. He always made me happy. I drew a couple little designs after setting it up and then we went over Mirabella's birthday list. We wanted everything to be perfect for the next day.

"Okay, first on the list. 'go karting with daddy'" I said. She was obsessed with karting since we took her the year before. We knew she would love it again.

"I can work with that" he said

"okay, second thing 'paint like mummy' well I'm sure she'll love the mini canvases and paints we bought her. She can also draw some stuff on my iPad so that's that sorted. And the last thing 'get Bella a friend'. That's easy too. We can just buy a mini frog that looks like Bella" I said. Her 5th birthday was gonna be perfect. I knew it would be.
