"Hello!" I said picking up Tanishka's call.

"Kya kar rahi ho cutie?"she asked.

"Kuch nahi bhai, just abhi classes se free hui hu. Tu bta?" I replied.

"Bas vahi boring life as always. Kashyap kesa hai?"

"He's good."I replied, keeping my bag in the cupboard.

"I have something to tell you!" she said in excitement.

"Go ahead, I'm listening." I replied keeping my call on speaker as I kept my phone on the bed to change my clothes.

"Mumma was telling me that our school is planning for an Alumni Meet of our batch." She replied with her voice filled with enthusiasm.

"Oh! That's great." I said in a low voice.

"You'll be coming right?" She asked in confusion.

"Mmm..I don't think I can.."I replied as my lips trembled.

"Reya...I won't leave you alone for a second, I promise. Just come,"she requested.

"Vayu won't be able to come, and I don't wanna go without him.."I explained.

"I'll ask him okay? But please don't cancel it yaar!"she cried.

"Fine..let's see."I replied and hung up the call as I've other businesses to look after.

I came back to Delhi two days before since my classes were starting. I had a great time with my parents in the last few days.

But my nightmares? They came as usual. I'm helpless when it comes to them.

If only one person could stop them and heal me, it would be him. He holds that power to fight with my demons. The demons who actually exist in my life.

I was in no mood to attend the Alumni's Meet. But only for Tanishka I agreed. She shared the details with me and it was scheduled after two months.

I knew if I visited my school again, my wounds would get fresh. It took them years to pain less, and I couldn't take the risk to scratch them again to be back on square one.

I talked to Vayu about it. Though he initially denied but I told him how Tanishka wanted me to accompany her. He was a bit hesitant but somehow agreed.

I asked him if he could join us but he wasn't sure about his leaves. And knowing about the strictness followed in IMA I didn't force him much.
