Happy Reading ❤️The moment I entered my room after dropping Vayu and his parents to the airport, my heart cried. For the last month, my room was not just a space confined within four walls but a cosy home with my love and Maa.
Even in that difficult time, there was laughter, there was love and emotions airing around the room.
My eyes fell on the bed, the creases on the bed sheet speaking of our love as we spent hours sitting there in each other's embrace.
The kitchen speaks of the yummy food Maa made for me throughout the month, the wet floor of the bathroom reminding me of the makeout session we did in the morning.
The curtains fluttered in the air giving me a flashback of the entire month.
The walls that used to be my HOME until few hours ago had reversed their roles now. My HOME has gone away and it's again a space within four walls and me. Felt like I was back on square one.
A lone tear escaped my eye and this time I didn't have Vayu to wipe it off. Despite my heavy heart wanting to cry as I saw his figure fading into the crowd as he descended inside the airport, I maintained a smile on my face. A fake one!
But he was way too smart to know if I was forcing the happiness on my face or not. He kissed my cheeks before going inside and that too in front of his parents. Maa was so right, he's growing shameless day by day.
I moved towards the side table and my eyes caught attention on a piece of paper kept over it. I picked it up and opened it to find something written over it.
'Feel my fingers as they wipe those precious tears of yours, Sunflower!'
The first line said. I chuckled at this knowing the way he was sure I must be crying as soon as I came back.
"Bastard!" I cursed him.
I continued reading,
'I'm not a bastard okay?'
I looked around the room, is he here? "Sudhar jaa!" I whispered, and read further.
'Sudharne mein kya maza hai! Okay okay let's be serious, hmm?
So I want some promises from you!
Number one, you will not cry alone, because I'm not there to wipe those glistening tears of yours. Promise?'I shook my head as tears already appeared on the brim of my eyes.
'Say yes, Sunflower!'
"Yes!" I muttered, wiping my tears and chuckling.
'Good girl!
Number two, you'll not miss me more than 2 hours a day! Okay?'"No wayyyy!" I said.
